What size springs are you using for that cam? Are your heads ported?
Nice bro. I love seeing people do it themselves. I also learn a lot of different techniques here. I have a 392 charger and want to put headers and a cam but the labor cost is so much. Do you think its possible to keep the heads on and do the headers from below. Thats borderline of my knowledge, but doable.
@@terryfrome1641 nice! Yeah it’s definitely doable. I’ve had mine out a few times. The first two times were done from underneath the car. Definitely tight in the passenger side on the challenger. I imagine it’ll be the same on the charger. I did cut one engine mount heat shield stud a bit for easier removal/install in the future on the passenger side. It was tricky to get the header to slide up on the right side. I seemed to find the spot to drop it in by picking up the rear of the header between the trans and trans tunnel to drop it in.
@MattsMoparMadness Thanks man. That lift you have is my next purchase. That is a game changer for my garage.

Very nice for the R/T. How are you liking the Goodyear F1 SC3 tires? You getting plenty of traction? I was considering switching out the stock RS A for them to see if I really needed to move up to a staggered setup or maybe just a square of 275's would do for my stock R/T. Maybe you could do a video review on traction/price/ride comfort vs what you had on your R/T.
@@BBDragon66 The traction was definitely better than my factory setup. Im still running them on my fronts but have since switch to a Nitto NT555R2 drag radials in the rear. A drag radial is definitely the way to go on these muscle cars. These nittos hook all the time. Even when it’s a little wet out they still hook up. I will never go back to a street tire on the rear at least. They are pricey but definitely worth it if you’re looking to hook up every time.
@@MattsMoparMadness Thanks, I was looking at the 555R2's also. Might as well go staggered and maybe get the 555G2's for the front. Now the hard part of choosing the wheels 😉😉

You should have gone with the Melling HV oil pump over that hellcat one, its provides even better oil pressure at hot operating tempatures during idle.
@@DJCuhhhstin956 I was looking at the melling oil pump. I was able to get a hellcat one for $150 less. It provides 10 psi more at idle than the factory pump. Both great options over stock for sure
@MattsMoparMadness $150 less? I got hime for 170 after a $10 coupon from sunmit racing. oh is it cuz you're from Canada?
@@DJCuhhhstin956 yeah prices are high up here lol
@MattsMoparMadness ah ok, and i looked into the specs on these 2 oil pumps, hellcat provides 12% higher oil pressure than the stock oil pump, and the melling provides 20% more, which is an 8% high pressure than the hellcat.
