Good video, although i'd like to say a paleo accurate t rex would make a worse scene because it's vision would be good enough to see and just kill everyone. The JP rex works so well because the people are fighting to save their lives instead of dying.

The brontos are extremely overpowered at Berry harvesting
The bronto is not useless. It’s a great farmer for heaps of narcotics and makes taming herbivores easier earlier on in the game. And the platform saddle is there too.
Who needs a titanosaur in extinction when we’re getting the dreadnoughtus aka the titan destroying sauropod
I think the biggest problem with the Suropods are the appearance designs of them. The Bronto and Titannosaur are stereotypical Suropods that you can put slap other Suropods’ names onto them, they look too broadly Suropod. The Amaga looks really ugly, if they ever took inspiration from actual paleo arts it wouldn’t look this off. The Diplo is currently the best looking Suropod, but it’s the old reconstruction.
I’d want them to make them have more base health, and more interesting abilities. The Diplodocus not having a Tail whip attack is crap. The Broto is only useful for harvest a large field of berries. The Titanosaur and Liopleurodon need a TLC so they don’t have a temporary Tame status. I’d like to see Dreadnoughtus and Brachiosaurus get useful abilities. I’d also be impressed if they made all the Allosauroids (Giganotosaurus, Carcharadontosaurus, Allosaurus) have bonus damage to Sauropods because that’s what they hunted.
My only complain about the Amargasaurus is the extremely bad pattern
Because they have no weapons. Real life sauropods were not fighters. They survived by growing quickly and getting really big. That's it. So when you try to take a creature like that and put it in a video game, you have to make up absurd ways for it to do damage, which is difficult to do without it looking silly. And no, there were no sauropods cracking their tails like whips. The g forces of such a move would snap the tails right off. And trying to use their tail as a club would also shatter the bones in the tail and do more damage to the sauropod than to the creature it tried to hit.
The diplo in the game files has a tail whip attack which I’m pretty sure does damage. If only they added that the diplo would become so much better
I have an idea for the bronto to give its platform a use I personally love building on them but give brontos a HUGE weight reduction to stuff on their backs so can you make a mobile smeltery, dino pen or breeding enclosure and also fix glitchyness of dinos falling out
Alpha mosa is the only one that came close to shasta's size 😮
Very nice video, although you should fix your mic since it was going left and right every clip. (atleast on my headphones.)

From my perspective as a new player on the Island (ASE only so far, mostly in single player mode) the answer is an absolute yes the Giga is very overhyped and overrated. In fact I would consider the Giga absolutely worthless. It can’t help me when I go Artifact hunting in the caves. It can’t help me fight the bosses. It can’t even help me go through the Tek Cave which is actually my next task. And it can’t help me fight the final boss of the Island. Every single task that I would want a Giga for, it’s banned from. And everything else actually on the Island itself out in the wild can be done by a couple of Rexes. Even better, the Rexes will remain loyal to me no matter what. I’m planning on attempting to tame that lone Carcha lurking near the summit of one of the mountains on my version of the Island because although it shares many of the disadvantages of the Giga, apparently it can at least enter the Tek Cave. So in theory I could leave my other nineteen tames (I’m assuming the limit is twenty like the boss fights as I can find no reliable information on the limit you can bring in single player mode) behind at the entrance area just after entering the Tek Cave and use the Carcha to clear the cave of threats. I could then go back and bring the rest through for the boss fight. The Carcha could play a very important role even if it can’t be brought to the boss fight. I’ve heard that there are some fights where you can use the Giga later in the game and I might be tempted to get a Giga or few for those but on the Island I see no need for a Giga.
@@mikoto7693 yea all of this is very true in my opinion, on the Island, there’s not something a Giga can do that another creature can’t do. Also if you’re on PS4 or 5 you can bring 50 creatures into the Tek Cave but only 20 to the Overseer or Final Boss Fight, Most People just bring 20 or a little more just in case they lose some doing the cave, thx 4 commenting have a good one
@@dee6349 Indeed I’m on the PS4, at least for the time being though I’m planning to upgrade to the PS5 soon, after I finish saving up for it. In any case, thank you for telling me that the single player Tek Cave limit is 50 tames. That’s actually really useful information that I can use to update my plan. Namely that I can aim to bring around 30 in with me, both to compensate for the inevitable losses that I’m bound to take and to fine tune the team to take to the boss fight. I’m actually thinking about bringing along a mix of Rexes and Theris now. I’m going to try the Beta version though I have the tributes to gamma too so it shouldn’t be unreasonably difficult. (I was initially going to stick to gamma but after trashing the game bosses I went for Beta.) We’ll see how it goes.
@@mikoto7693 Good Luck, Remember when I first did the Tek Cave had A Theri Army While I Was on My Rex, Show the Overseer Who Rules the Ark
@@dee6349 Thank you, it’s definitely appreciated. I got a tip from one of my tribe friends on my multiplayer character that I can make it easier to line up the tames by building platforms across some of the lava. That was an absolute pain to do-finding viable places to set down pillars, foundations and whatnot but it was worth the time and aggravation. 😆 I went all in and attempted to bring the full fifty tames by forming a few manageable conga lines-but ran out of time. Still, 43 excluding the shoulder pet was actually quite satisfying. I both loved and hated my new Carcha, he was a colossal pain in the butt to successfully tame! What a hassle. But I’m not sure I would have succeeded without him. For safety’s sake I brought along one of the two Yutys, Daeodon and three Rexes to back him up while I flew overhead on an Argy. (I force allowed flyers in caves.) It was still a brutal journey and all but the Yuty and Argy got wiped out by a cluster of enemies near the Giga guarding the entrance into the cold area. So of course I lost several more after carefully bringing the others over to overwhelm it with numbers. I eventually got to the teleporter with 23 left excluding the otter. Gotta admit that I really enjoyed the segment aboard the space station and seeing the Arks and learning the lore. I had no idea that was where the Obelisks sent me-into those rooms to be observed fighting the guardians by the Overseer. So I rallied my remaining tames into another conga line and went forth. But the Overseer was one tough cookie. I ended up Beta Ascending with only three surviving tames not counting the otter. And a whole lot of broken weapons and equipment. All in all that was one of the most difficult tasks I’ve played in a video game for years. I spawned back on the Island where I’d fortunately stored a full set of backup gear to replace what I lost. The question now is what Ark to go to next? I still need to do a final bit of work preparing who and what I bring with me, but I’m torn between going on with the story and go to Scorched Earth-I hear it’s not nearly as lengthy as the Island-or going to the Crystal Isles since I really like the crystal Wyvern gifted to me on my multiplayer character. (Ok I GMSummoned one because I couldn’t go back to the super slow Argy but I do want more.) I have absolutely no idea which one I’ll choose yet.
@@mikoto7693 Cool Man, Overseer might be my favorite boss the build up and lead up to it is just so cool and so rewarding when you beat it. Yeah for me I personally like Playing Story Ark so after I beat the Island I went to Scorched but the choice is yours
Brontos are usless🤓 Berry harvesting:
The diplo is pretty fair as to why it doesn’t do damage. Since it can carry so many people at once, said people can use their weapons to fight whatever may be nearby. Combining the diplo knockback with ascendant or tek weapons from multiple players, and just about anything will be destroyed in seconds/minutes(depending on the type of creature.)
Granted I’m a new player and I have a bit of an obsession with mobile bases and I’m still on the island. (Almost ready for my first attempt at the Tek Cave though.) But I’ve found a way to make use of the Brontosaurus with the platform saddle. Basically I put one on the middle of the map on the open plains, swamp area and redwood biome as a mobile base in those areas. It’s quite nice to have a base that can walk between some of the cave sites or if I find a better spot or I want a change of scenery, but yeah the Bronto kind of sucks. It’s slow, even when you divert some points into movement speed and stamina. But it also needs a bodyguard, especially when on the move and especially when you’re wading it through a swamp. I do have to assign a Rex to follow alongside and watch for incoming attacks when moving. Never even tried to tame a Titanosaur partially because I mostly play in solo mode and I don’t know if it starves itself in solo mode and I don’t really have the patience to take one down on the unofficial server my multiplayer character is on. I adore the Quetzal though, even if it is frustratingly slow. After building my first mobile base on rafts I’m really good at cramming things into a small platform. While I’d prefer it to hover indefinitely while I’m not aboard, it’s just a case of finding a good landing spot a short flight from the cave I’m artifact hunting in. Deploying a couple raptors or Sabertooths as guards usually works. But yeah I wish the sauropods were better.
I was obsessed with Mobile Bases too when I was new to the game, and yeah that’s a good use of the Bronto in the different biomes. Good luck on you Tel Cave Atempt
@@dee6349 Of course I enjoy building a proper fortress too. Metal is a bit too expensive to use in building a massive fortress but stone does the job nicely. So much so that I have three main fortresses strategically placed on the Island. Double walled to prevent tames potentially clipping partially through a wall and attracting trouble. It’s just fun making a couple dino enclosure rooms, a storage/living area room, workshop and hatchery. It’s reassuring to have the breeding pairs safely tucked away in a fortress. Anyway thank you, I hope to try the Tek Cave tonight or tomorrow. Just a handful of things left to prepare.
Dinosaur Media is based on Carnivores, people think sauropods like Diplodocus are weak when in reality they're not
2:13, not even that, the desert titan has a bigger platform saddle, and If you are thinking “well the desert titan is only temporary” THE TITANOSAUR IS TOO, at least you don’t have to make the desert titan’s saddle and it’s much easier to tame.
They need to make the Dilophosaurus it’s real size
Is it just me or does his voice switch ears periodically throughout the video.
I Know Right so Weird It was Because I recorded on My Phone so My Voice was different distances from my phone each recording
Its so weird how the Anky doesn’t have ANY armor mutlipliers anywhere on it like the trike, doedic, etc
Yea, I always thought that was so weird like bruh he’s INVINCIBLE
They should at least make sauropods have more attacks because they either do no damage or have 1 attack going for them which I think is boring
download paleo ark mode to enjoy your time with the trex
Honestly, I do think the gig is powerful well. A little bit like they may be scary. They're really fun to use a little bit for me because it was hard knocking. That thing out, and it is a very big creature and honestly. Although it's A little bit decent, but at least it's a little bit fun to use around But honestly, I do think it does need a tlc, because the old one. Well, it's a little dated, but at least maybe add some unique abilities to it like have. Its war be stunned Creatures and players up 6 Minutes or pick up like big creatures like a Rex. Or Spino or small sore parts like the megalosauru. But either way, I think that would make the gig. Ger hyped
In real life sauropods could take on multiple theropods, in ark, the bronto cant even take a rex💀
The Pulmonoscorpius, dear god it needs help so much, it's aged like milk and it was only ever tamed to make kibble to tame the T.Rex but after the kibble rework these scorpions have been out of a job
I feel like the megalodon also got the same treatment, both could really use a tlc!
0:22 they are not stronger dude
