That would be cool, but I imagine not easy to do. I guess it would be called Hydra Alien Tiny 🤣 It’s very nice, I also like the fact you can choose a colour, which is cool. It’s certainly my favourite bit of kit from 2024 🙌

I’m not sure it will with the shock absorber as I believe the pocket 2 is bigger than the 3. It’s pretty tight as it is for the 3. I would guess the pocket 2 would work with the hydra mini arm if you’ve got a quarter inch thread on the bottom 👍

Amazing, they are both very good for different scenarios and fully agree the NEO is perfect for beginners. It’s a bit like having the bumpers up when going bowling 🙌🤣

It would depend on how many pockets you have to put all the components. That’s why I chose quick release side grips 👍

@Pulse8Reviews So far, i am learning to balance it with the Dji mic mini receiver connected, but the overall feel and finish is top-notch! The AI feature for tracking is amazing and follows me so well 👌 but I need to test it for live stream and see how good it is. I ain't a good reviewer to share that feedback and will wait for yours to arrive, and then watch you 😉 take us for a spin with it.

That’s great to hear. Gimbals are not the easiest things to use to start with and if anything like the Hohem one I reviewed, they’re a little more tricky to balance. But the AI tracking feature are a game-changer for solo creators out there. This will also be the first one I review which uses a phone, so I will certainly go into some details too. You’re right, it’s a different mount. It’s a different brand and if I had two of the same in the studio, I would’ve showed them. It seemed little point in buying two when I had some. And no worries at all, you have an eye for detail my friend 👍

Yah or you know how people making walking videos? See if you can mount it on backpack and have it hang over the shoulder? Some thing people can use at car shows? Make it have mount on end where you can unclip it to hold the osmo cam?

I didn’t know that, I guess DJI learn from each one. Sorry to hear you’ve had so many issues with it. Why not sell it on eBay and put towards the 3 🤷‍♂️ we got ours used from eBay, the combo addition was about 200 cheaper than new 👊🏻

That my favourite word “Ridiculous” 🙌 I personally think it’s crazy how much you can push this little camera with the right kit. Yes, it may defeat the original purpose, but it opens up so much more creative possibilities 🤷‍♂️

This is so true, it’s called the Pocket3 for a reason. Although, it’s being used for way more than the original intentions and what you can do with it is so cool. And true, you can point and shoot knowing the 20mm wide has got it covered, that’s why so many people love it 👍

I really couldn’t agree with you more. The only time we like to use the FX6 is in the studio or for static interviews. The FX3 is just so much more versatile with the IBIS as you say. I would even go as far to say that I would advise people to get the FX3 over the FX6 and do exactly what you did. May I ask what VND system did you go for?

Yes, I would some what agree, although many people (and I include myself) are using the camera beyond it’s original intentions. The kit I’m recommending isn’t for everyone, and only for those wishing to push the limits for certain types of filming.

Yes it is, and I’ve tried my best to show kit to upgrade your filming which is not only quick to add, but small in size. This is more to demonstrate how much you can use it beyond it’s original intentions 👍

This bag is exceptionally for the price point, especially when there’s a discount on it. I’d also recommend looking at the LowPro 350w tactical bag, that’s been the bag for me for years. The time will come to step up to a “proper” camera when the opportunity comes along buddy. And so to your question, I would guess at around 30 action cameras 🤣🤣🤣

Hey buddy, great decision sticking with the Tilta cage. It’s got better curves, looks super cool and doesn’t bulk a camera so much. I had smallrig cages in the past, they were always more bulky 🤷‍♂️

I think that’s like anything in this game, the fun is building it up, learning about how the rig works and then pause to wait for the right shoot to come along to utilise it. Most of these bits we already had, so the outlay of you don’t have any is experience. Although, you don’t have to do it. Just getting the magnetic attachments will do a lot for filming 👍

I hear what you’re saying for sure, it’s a certainly a concern. On one hand, you can get more work for those lower budgets, on the other hand the value of your service can go down. It’s a tough one. I have a client we use this for as he’s super hyper and just wants to get on with the shoot. This is perfect and we still charge the same. The value of what you offer should always be based on your experience and creativity, never the value of your kit 👍
