OK, so I'm here because of the genius use of the thumbnail preview mechanic. Dude, the transition from the thumbnail to the video was smooth, like butter smooth. Also, the video production is incredibly high-end, which I say rivals those with much higher subs. You earn a sub from me, good sir.
Thank you so much for the sub Edwind, not many people spot the thumbnail part, or not many mention it at least. It’s the one thing I wanted to always do at the start and some the products I review are a little more difficult to do in this style 🤣
Well another amazing upload and now you got me scratching my head thinking 🤔 I will be shopping soon as I will need to add a good camera 📷 into my collection 😊 As always, keep them coming 👍
I was only trying to help buddy, sorry 🤣 No matter what 85mm lens you go for, the results will always look great just for the compression. Let me know when you get a camera and what one. And thank you for your kind words and support as always 🙌
Dang stumbled upon your channel and the quality is top notch. You're going to have a big channel soon with these types of quick and relevant reviews. I was looking at this lens but went for the viltrox 85 instead, will compare it to a friends' gm2 85 but it seems like you were saying, multiple gm2's pretty much equals a new fx3 lol
I really tried to love this lens but the chromatic aberrations are just insane. Have anything backlit or with high contrast and you get blue and yellow everywhere. I already had two of them and both had the same issues. I replaced it with the much cheaper TTartisan 75 F2 and don't regret it
It’s always going to come down to how you use the lens I guess. For us it’s video content and I feel in my opinion no one out of our world would spot those aberrations. If O were to use it for photography, then create a massive print, it’s then an issue. For the vast majority of none creatives, they’ll never see it. Thank you for the lens recommendation, I’ll be checking it out. Plus, the 75mm is an interesting focal range 🧐
I find it insane, that this video only has 9 views with this amount of video/ sound quality and information. Only thing I would recommend would be to add comparison photo/video material to similiar priced or speced lenses and use more photos made with the particular lense
That’s a sound bit of advice if I had a different type of 85mm lens from a different brand, but unfortunately I don’t. But I did do this with a 24-70mm Sony and Sigma Lens. The algorithm is very strange on here, sometimes my videos get picked up straight away and fed to viewers, others flatline, and like this one, can take 24 to 48 hours for it to be fed 🤣 Basically, RUclips tries to figure out who to serve my content too. If it were a human, it would’ve spotted that all the videos are for video creators or photographers 🤦♂️ Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching 🙌
Sorry it's a poor lens. The CA is terrible, just terrible on this and the 35mm f1.8. Making the lens unusable in back lit situations . Sold mine and got the Sigma 85 f1.4 art which is superb
As always, it comes down to personal preference and what you’re using them for. I’ve found the auto focus on this flawless for videos, how does the Sigma stack up then? I feel I might need to do a comparison on them 🧐
