@@TheUnquietWriter I have had great luck using vtt's to connect with people all over the world. My last online traveler game included an Aussie engineer he would have to get up at like 9:00 a.m. local time to play with us LOL

@@TheUnquietWriter I'm thinking of bringing traveler to my local game club because when I was there shooting this video I noticed they had the Traveller core rules on the shelf I got a picture of it you might notice it when I pan past it on the bookshelf. I posted on their Discord and got three or four interested people from the small group. I hope you find similar success!

@@CyborgPrime absolutely. so many DMs nowadays behave like they’re a thorny wall that their players should overcome, when in truth they should be serving their players a fun, enjoyable, and engaging story to play through. DMs are in service to their players, just like Brennan says.

unless, of course, it’s Curse of Strahd they’re playing. then the gloves come off. lol

@@kylejimenez367 sometimes people think these games are an adversarial relationship between the GM and the players but really it's cooperative storytelling and the best way to bring new people in is to cultivate their experience in a positive way. That doesn't mean you go easy on them necessarily but it does mean you lighten up and let them ease into the game and get used to playing it before you start throwing harder stuff at them. Make it an adventure not a slaughter.

@@GMRav facebook or web page. Or whatever platform most of his audience uses. For me it's Facebook and my website though people can reach me at my Discord pretty much all day. As an author I believe it's important to have your own venue for promoting your creative content. If you can manage a website great but if not a Facebook author Page works well too.
