You've made me a very happy woman! Thank you!! I knew this show would make a positive impression! I felt the same way you did - with every episode, I couldn't wait to find out what was coming next! I'm curious if you plan on watching all of it in Japanese or the English dub version at some point (which is an option on Crunchyroll). To be fair, I did watch it in both to make my own comparisons and I think both were fine. Taiju's English dub voice in particular really brings out the boisterous and heartfelt feelings which make you feel that this is how someone would emote if they were in the same situation - especially when he expresses his feelings about Yuzuriha. Imagine literally loving someone for over 3,000 years!! Senku's and Taiju's friendship is an interesting one. At first you might get a "Pinky & The Brain" vibe from their early interactions, but eventually you'll see more than that - despite Senku's seemingly cold and rational exterior. Later on there will be subtle facial expressions from him that shows they're like brothers. Overall, a great first showing!!!!

Sol spies and follows the twins; Sol reports back seemingly force-sensitive children in an abusive domestic situation (Sol witnessed Anaseya using her abilities on the twins knocking them down); Upon their first official encounter, Sol witnesses Anaseya mindraping Torbin; Sol pursues Torbin driven to obsession by Anaseya's mental fugue and gets close enough to glean through the Force that the twins are indeed in danger of being burned alive and opts to go against the High Council to save them; On their last encounter, Anaseya uses her abilities once more transforming herself while causing Mae (whom Sol mistakes as Osha) to vaporize before his very eyes; Sol kills Anaseya restoring Mae. ...about the only crime committed is Sol mistaking Mae for Osha (how does he not notice that forehead tattoo?)

Didn't watch the series and only skipped through this video to learn who smilo Ren (brilliant name) is. Just one question: If I got this right, these forest creatures were attracted by the light of the droid and thus attacked, why were they not attracted by the LIGHT-sabers? I mean, they were basically swinging flashy lasers around for minutes. How were the creatures not agitated? Is there an explanation? Or just "well we did not think of that?" from the writers?

They hired writers who knew nothing about Star Wars, who are only copying the events in Star Wars, yet lack the ability to tell a story with the underlying emotions that support it. They can't understand why OG Star Wars fans don't like the show because they use familiarity to bring in those fans, then stun the fans with a bad story, bad writing, and blame the fans for not liking it.

Star Wars fan has never heard of the Knights of Ren. Color me unsurprised. Maybe just do content on things you enjoy, rather than working backwards from the conclusion that you dislike anything Disney.

The scene of the mother said "thread" don't decide your destiny, just after said that thread tied to your destiny in the training scene. Also, if is so easy for her accept that Osha can go forever, why think in kill the jedi for a moment or attack the padawan? Also, if the Jedi need their permission for test kid, why don't refuse?

I think thats it in a nutshell. Its not the genders, or the races. The issue with the show is the shory itself is shit and seems like GoT s8 its more intrested in the major neats of the story, than allowing the story to drive the major events. Combined with a seeming distain for the lore of the world they are playing in. Why write a starwars story if you don't like Starwars.

So glad to see a new post from you at last!!! I don't bother with a lot of modern Hollywood entertainment now - because of craptastic films like this! I would have been fine with Indy having his son take over his adventurous exploits (although Shia Lebeuf is not my choice for that role) in a new series of films but Hollywood is broken beyond repair to pull it off. I'm sick of great characters purposely being destroyed by angry, purple haired, howling they/thems who think they know better. I'm also sick of CGI backgrounds! Whatever happened to backlots? Practical effects and stunt work? How about simple respect for legacy characters? Lately I've been exploring entertainment from independent and overseas outlets. Anime from Japan has more entertainment value that movies like this!! May I recommend one for potential review? Dr Stone is a great show filled with adventure, real world science, comedy and great characters! I've been watching the show (three seasons plus a fourth on the way) and I see how much we are missing right now. If you want to get a taste of the show, the first episode is on YT for free on Crunchyroll's dub channel. This show deserves some love!

This show is trash

The title is a lie.

I think the 13 episodes were all filmed before the strike so it's a safe assumption this show will be history one way or another. In fact, I'm glad nothing new will be coming down the pike anytime soon! No annoying late night talk shows (you'd think these "comedians" would write their own material!), no new woke movies and tv episodes that haven't been completed before the strike, and unemployed writers who don't deserve to be in charge of IPs like Batman. Keep on striking fools, you're doing the rest of us a favor!!
