Fascinating!
Great to see such a robust test suite along with a wide array of hardware used in testing. Certainly important with how Astera Labs has quickly become the primary supplier of PCIe retimers for 5.0 and 6.0.
This should earn a Guinness World Record for the number of times "unprecedented" has been uttered in a four minute span

This part is really great! But what does it look like if you connect an rtx4090? Would there be a loss of performance as a result or does the part pack the power? Dieses Teil ist wirklich toll! Aber wie sieht es aus, wenn man eine RTX4090 anschließt? Würde es dadurch zu Leistungseinbußen kommen oder hat das Teil die nötige Leistung?
how are you decreasing bandwidth when the PCIE is further away from the CPU than local memory?. doesn't really add up
