Si lo e escuchado y como corrijo esa falla
We have more stuff coming out on correcting it, we put together a bunch of live calls that we are doing to help get guys the information they need. Just takes time. To answer your question, you need to figure out what’s causing either high head pressure or low suction pressure, could be a mountain of different things!
Hermano es Juan Restrepo gracias por esta iniciativa en You tube lo puedo traducir y ya pude ver este primer video de verdad gracias por ayudar el ego de los técnicos lo siegan a no ayudar a los demás gracias por compartir los conocimientos
100% brother, we want to make a difference, the who is the enemy in any endeavor
What is reason of surge.
it happens when you exceed the pumping capacity of a centrifugal compressor by either lowering the suction pressure, or raising the discharge. this results in the reversal of refrigerant flow through the compressor. since a centrifugal uses dynamic compression and not positive displacement compression the only thing preventing the gas from going backwards through the impeller is the the speed of the gas getting ejected from the impeller. We do have an air cooled chiller design course in our membership portal on our website that will walk you through this in detail if you want to learn more about this, there is also a bunch of other stuff that is included as well in there.
Please don’t stop making these videos 🎉 3 years in my apprenticeship!

Hi! My friend. I have a CGAM 52 device with an LCI-C software compatibility error. I have already updated it with the tech view tool, but the error persists. Is there another programmer?
Hey brother, You should just need techview, I have never had that error, but I can try and help you with it. I will have a little free time today, send me a message on Facebook, or Instagram with your phone number and I’ll give you a call when I get a chance
Were those AWV'S or AWS. I seen some WMC's and WME's
AWV’s That’s awesome man, so your getting some good experience then? Happy with the move?
I am not representative of trane how can i use techview can u pls enlighten me

Thanks for the interesting information. What is the air velocity at the chiller fan outlet? What is the diameter of the chiller fan?
Thanks for the interesting information. What is the air velocity at the chiller fan outlet? What is the diameter of the chiller fan?
Are you referring to airflow on an air cooled chiller?
@@TheChillerGuysHub yes, exactly.
@@ВалерийВовк-ш8ц data sheets have the CFM of the condenser fans typically, I have seen them all over the place anywhere from 600-900 CFM /ton. But it all depends on the climate, an air cooled chiller in northern Norway won’t need as much as one in Dallas Texas, and I haven’t had to dig in that deep or calculate it to be honest. All of that data will be in the submittal (technical data sheet) it will vary depending on the location of the install. at 100% load you will need to reject approximately 125% of your cooling load on the condenser side due to heat of compression and some heat from the compressor motor itself. The conditions of the air at max design where it’s installed will determine how much air you need to accomplish that. Google “carrier aqua snap Submittals” you should be able to find some so you can see what I mean. Did this help at all?
@@TheChillerGuysHub yes
@@ВалерийВовк-ш8ц Awesome, have you seen a data sheet before? do you know what i am referring to?
hello sir. at 2:03, did you mean to say evaporator? my teacher said the evaporator is the lowest part of the machine
all chillers are a little bit different, take a look at where the suction elbow, and the discharge pricing connect. this machine has the condenser below, the evaporator. with chillers there are rules of thumb, but none of them are set in stone. Your teacher is correct about a lot of chillers, but not all chillers
Great video my guy. What recovery machine do you recommend? My G5 had a hard time with 400 lbs on an air cooled last weekend. I had to throttle it down in order for it to run. I’m ready for a new machine
Appreciate it brother! The G5 twin is by far my favorite, it is rated for pumping liquid also, but you have to have zero restriction on your discharge, or it will hammer hardcore until you break it lol ask me how I know. The best way I have found is to push pull liquid when possible, then switch to vapor If you cant, then use a 1/4" hose on the suction, and use 3/8" hoses on the discharge. Sometimes 410A can be a challenge, but I made a subcooler when I was working on a lot of 410A stuff. @jasonjohnsonHVAC made a liquid subcooler from a braze plate heat exchanger, and honestly its much better than what i made, not sure if he made a post on YT about it, but he is in our group, and sent a bunch of photos. looks like a pretty awesome setup. I would recommend paging through all of his YT stuff. and see if you can find it, if not, leave a comment on a video, and he will help you. He is a great guy, and likes helping everyone. I talked with an engineer at Appion years ago, and he said the only reason why it knocks is because the discharge is restricted, and I found that to be true. hope this helps brother!
Does this software available here in the Philippines?
It is downloadable from the internet, so yes. as long as you have a Windows PC, and a Trane CH530 Controller
@@TheChillerGuysHub thanks, but can i use it for binding the sensors?
@@josellesison380 as long as it is a CH530 controller you should be able too.
@@TheChillerGuysHub I'll try Sir, we are always calling a trane technician just to bind the sensors. It so expensive here in the Philippines.
@@josellesison380 yeah for sure, give it a go, but this only works on the CH530 controller. Black box with green touch screen The Symbio controllers use tracer TU software, and it’s very expensive.
Which windows support this software sir
As long as you have the Java download, you shouldn’t have a problem. Are you having issues or what?
I thought that the surge was going to sound like the distress call from Alien.
😂
Great explanation...the most field relatable explanation
Can you elaborate more on the chemical issue how did you solve it and what chemical did you use. Thanks!
correcting the chemical issues with the water? or Acid cleaning?
In China, you only need $300 to have permanent use of CH530 and UC800 software
That seems expensive for china, I’m guessing your going to say you sell it?
@@TheChillerGuysHub This is very cheap, $300 can be used permanently, and the cost of binding a sensor for users is $500. There are many software suppliers in China who sell software
Greats video! I work at a hospital and maintain the chillers to a certain point. I've had my chiller surge before and it actually helped to put more load on her. Our cond approach is a tad high at 6.5. She's a champ tho
Nice man! What brand machines are they?
Massive thanks @thechillerguys. You really do walk the walk. It might have been a simple fix, but I learnt a bunch in the process and it meant I helped the customer! Keep doing what you’re doing, you’re making a huge difference!
happy that it worked out! Appreciate the love let me know if anything else comes up
Doing a start up on an AGZ and the flow switch is tripping after 15 seconds of run time...and the Delta P isn't changing and is set perfectly, flow switch is calibrated properly....this video is full of great information
excellent, did you get er? the book has the flows by model # also. i have had issues with the AGZ tripping as soon as a compressor kicks on.. if your 100% on flow, flow switch is calibrated for slightly below the min flow for the model, and you dont have any air in the piping, then double check the orientation of the flow switch. it should be at a 45, sometimes the factory will ship the chiller with it straight up and down. if this is the case, just loosen the vic, and turn the pipe a bit. depending on the Software version, you can also program a delay for the flow alarm if its just for a split second. hope this helps brother! let me know
Having the same issue with an AGZ100 faulting out on low flow and evap 1 pump faults only when the compressors cut on. Did you figure out why this happens?
@@danielbranham2944 sometimes when a compressor goes to start a small amount of turbulence will be created in the piping, and it can cause a trip. 1. Be 100% sure your flow is correct. 2. Be 100% certain your flow switch is calibrated. 3. Make sure the flow switch is oriented correctly. If you have the SI5000 Thermal dispersion switch, then Google the manual for it, it should be mounted in the side off of the stub. Sometimes they mount them straight up from the factory. Check all of that, and let me know what you find out. There is also some flow switch delay settings, but I don’t thing you will want to mess with any of those.
I’m certain the flow is correct. I’m certain the flow switch is calibrated, have had a number of Daikin certified start-up technicians look at that and re-calibrate. I’m certain the flow switch is installed as recommended. Flow switch shows acceptable flow when only pump runs, as soon as compressors kick on the flow drops below threshold and trips out and compressors cut off, then flow on flow sensor goes right back to acceptable. I had luck cutting one of the circuits off and the flow maintained when it started it up, then cut the second circuit back on. But that’s not run type conditions.
@@danielbranham2944what do you mean cutting one of the circuits off? Could you elaborate? Also, is your evap pump ran from the Microtech or the building automation system?
Mcquay impeller?
Yes, Mcquay IGV’s
