I try a different head light restoration kit this time I am using an 3M kit. Last time I used a Cerakote which was easy to use and looked really good but only lasted a year. Time will tell if this kit will last longer!

Great job! This is probably the worst car repair I have ever had to do. Mazda did terrible with this design.
I think all this samsung appliences have the same problem I changed the fan back I. December and now I have to change the lights for the stove on and the drain valve on the dishwasher
I just happened to mine same left front burner. Thank you!
I bought the same cheap Chinese belt tensioner from RockAuto and was replacing it again inside of 6 months with one from O'Reilly and haven't had an issue since (over a year). Don't cheap out!
By the way, if you take the RF wheel off, there's an access panel on the inner wheel well. Take that off and you can look virtually straight in on the tensioner pulley.
He did a decent job but to seal it. Mcquire has a spray Sealant that will protect it for at least a year. Try it. And when you use it enhances the light even mor
@@fernandobedoy7439 Thank you for the advice I might have to try that spray sealant as well.
Thank you SO MUCH!!

how long did this actually take you?
@@9mmhobbes This was over 2 days I think maybe total 6 or 8 hours. But it was my first time I think if I did it again soon after this I could've cut it down to 3 to 4 hours. It does take awhile.
thanks a lot for this, boyo. helps a lot. lemme tell you. try going through thr car wash in 100 degree heat without a fan. i wouldn't recommend it.
Thank you for your help 👍

Man what a freakin hassle…. This seems like an absolute nightmare
@@cohegaming8069 Yes, the blower motor is a complete pain! There is a better place to put that fan. My pathfinder although a much bigger vehicle is behind the glove box which makes it so easy to get too.
What lube do you use for the sliding pins?
" Takes a little bit of finesse... but she'll come. " lmaoo
i just got a similar samsung stove. sometimes the right light comes on randomly (when not even being used) and sometimes its the left light! how could that be? all the generic videos i see point to the limiter switch at the actual burner. I havent dug into it yet myself but it loos like starting at the infinite switch is easier. thanks!
figured it out. if the knobs arent perfectly pointing straight up it will trigger the cooktop on light.
What size Allen key
um yup I'll be changing the whole tank , I have a parts car

Anyone help to get the handle out if it's broken inside the lock
@@M0980a Are you able to get a flat head screw driver in there to be able to unlock the mechanisms

I really take issue when people take it upon themselves to ignore the instructions and add there own interpretation how it should be done? I don't think the people at 3M will be pleased especially when you consider the cost of the time and money developing this foolproof restoration kit, I like many thousands of other people who took the trouble to read follow the instructions are more than happy with the results, As far as the grit sizes are concerned there perfect for removing old cracking clearcoat along with heavy oxidation!!! Yours didn't have this issue!!🤔😡
If you use extra sandpaper you can’t go wrong, that can only refine the scratches so the end result will be a lot better, if you know anything about sanding. The 3M kit is ok if that’s all you have, but not great.
I hope you can help! Once i removed the door panel, the auto function for my window stopped working. Window still works, just not auto down/ up anymore
What was your mileage?
Nice video. What kind of a socket handle is that?
It's serpentine belt tool. If you google that you will see them.
Nice video but since blower motor comes out from passenger side you don’t need to take brake pedal off only gas pedal to make space and been able to take connector and turn blower counterclockwise and pull it ,please don’t pull brake pedal so much trouble if you have time and want to be able to get your complete body under the steering wheel ok do it but it’s not necessary
Can you show me how you got the back bot on the passenger side
A little late to the party. You my man are a Gentleman and a Scholar. Just what i needed to see. Thank you for the tutorial.
what were the symptoms that lead you to this? i have a 2010 mazda 3 base and the fan speeds all seem weaker than they used to be. all the speeds work, but just not as strong it seems. im wondering if somehow the resistor is dying, or if its the motor itself.
Miss the days of just having to drop the glove box and undo some bolts to replace blower motors…
C clamp and a piece of sheet metal will work instead of renting that decompressing tool!!! I always do that method lol
Does this apply if all of the faucets start out low pressure?
Where would the blower motor resistor be located. My Blower motor is fine but my resistor is malfunctioning. I cant seem to locate it. Thanks for the video.
You got rip off :-) I ordered one from Walmart for $20. Amazon has it for $35.
I am glad you found them cheaper. You mentioning this could possible help other!
I have issue with the hot surface line that it doesn’t turn on.
Pretty good job. But" -- you didn't clean, and wire brush the area's underneath the tins" -- and" you didn't put thread locker on the 22mm caliper bracket bolts... 🛠
Thank You so much for this video. I just replaced my water heater today, and when I was done, I had no water flow to the kitchen faucet. Your video was right on time. We are back in action.
I am glad you found my video helpful! Thanks for watching.
in theory putting back as much as you took out should be fine but wouldn't it still be s good idea to warm the car up and check the level?
Yes, you are correct!
Excellent, I was able to fix my kids' kart!!! Thanks!!!!
Thats great to hear! Thanks for watching.
All that's needed on the auger shafts is anti-seize lube so they don't rust onto the shafts. They only need to spin when the shear pin breaks and you will replace it right away anyway. You should always install an impeller kit (rubber belting on the end of each impeller) so rocks won't get caught in the impeller and burn up your belt. It will also throw the snow farther and keep from plugging up when blowing wet heavy snow.
Thanks for the advice I will look into the impeller kit!
Good stuff. Will be doing a lot more stuff on my Pathfinder .. How did oil changes get to be 100$ Plus.. and NO I do not want to tip you..... ( the oil change place not YOU :) )
Right it's gets pricey 100.00 an oil change. I do replace my oil every 5000kms because it's cheaper plus how I see it's probably better long term for the engine vs the factory recommend interval. I can properly do the oil change my self for about half the cost of going somewhere giver take.
@@TDLDIY scoping out the tools to do it myself. Oil collector pan, oil filter wrench. Etc. Thanks for the great videos
@@tommerl6078 Thats great. It might be a bit to get started but once you have it. It becomes very cost-effective. I recommend ramps it's you havent thought of it.
How do you take out the last screw? I'm trying but I can't 😢
It's opposite threads. I hope this helps.
Thanks hell yeah
Your welcome, Thanks for watching.
How do you put them back
It's ok to wack the rotor surfaces, especially from the back side. Not sure why none wants to hit them
Yes, your right. Sometimes It doesn't work well so I hit more in the center to help break up the rust. But your 100% if your not reusing the rotor you can hit the back side or out edge. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Why didn't you adjust the e-brake.
@@hashmalik3319 My brake didn't require adjustment.
You're the best. I fixed it and worked perfectly. Thank you.
Thats great news. Thanks for watching!
Explanation of the rear diff was great. Explanation of the front TF was extremely incomplete.
Hey TDL, just a shot in the dark here, but i have the same 2013 Mazda 3 skyactiv as you and now I hear a squeal again and figured out it's one of the pulleys, the alternator pulley, do you happen to know the part number for the skyactiv version?
