    Read before you comment! ⬇️ QS is not the same as “power shifting” - so don’t comment “any bike can do that if you know how to ride” - you’ll look silly. The bike “can” do the QS from 1-2 but it feels terrible unless you are rev limiting, as it’s designed for high rpm. This is informational purposes only, I barely use the QS, as it was designed to help acceleration for racing etc. Also don’t ride fast like this without both hands on the bars please, I only did it to show the clutch. Qaudlock and Rokform are the two best. I have both and I have used the rest. Here are some tips. Get the vibration dampeners with both, it’s an extra cost with both companies but well worth protecting your phone and camera. Rockform handlebar mount is more versitile as it has more rotation and flexibility with just the mount and the quad lock you have to buy an extra pivoting adapter. Like my ape hangers with qaudlock I had to buy a pivoting adapter to pivot my phone to see it with the handlebar mount. Both have tons of accessories. Qaudlock a bit more. Both very secure and easy to use. Can’t go wrong with either.

    • @seanmarchiny
      @seanmarchiny 4 дня назад

      One thing to add. Between the two cases, Rockform offers the rugged case which has better grip texture to it. The case feels better in the hand as the Qaudlock case feels very slippery. Also the magnet in the Rockform case is stronger even without the magnetic plug insert when not using the mount. When putting the Qaudlock case on metal objects it slides where as the rockform does not. And with the rockform magnetic plug insert in the case the magnet is super strong. It’s kinda of tough getting it back off of a metal surface. Let’s just say once I left my phone on top of my car when leaving the gas station on the way to work. I got to work and realized it and my phone never moved an inch with the rockform case. Both offer MagSafe compatible cases. The Rockform however, with the extra magnet plug insert in, it interferes with the wireless charging. With it out it works fine and is plenty strong with the built in magnet in the case.

      @@collinwalker4838 these types of comments are hilarious to me, because not only are so quick to spew negativity and show off your lack of cognitive reasoning skills, you immediately throw shade at other things for no reason. The Indian scout bobber is an amazing machine, both internally and aesthetically. Not all bikes are used for going fast, and it has plenty of get up for what it is. A bobber. Secondly, it’s literally quite obvious that the “roasting” is being done to not only someone I know, but is my gf on one of OUR bikes. Use your head, don’t assume anything, and don’t be stupid about what people choose to ride and for what reasons. I have a half dozen bikes all for different things.

      @@xmotojack so all of your comments about your Indian are again subjective. I don't agree with any of your claims about it, and never will benefit it's not to my taste, hence the effort to point out the subjective nature of fun and easy. As for your sudden ire at my annoyance at your post, and attempt to attack my intelligence. Have you considered that posting annoying little videos, with no other context, leaves people to assume? Did it even cross your mind how someone who isn't you and knows nothing about you might be left to assume that you're being an asshole in the video? You claim it's on the viewer to infer this information you claim I should know, but where eventually was I supposed to get this information? If you don't like people assuming you're an asshole, don't post stuff like this or at least give context so viewers who don't know you have the necessary information. It's all good though, keep thinking your bobber is objectively good and that people can magically know what you meant. That makes total sense.

      @@collinwalker4838 it’s SUPER obvious given the - on screen text, the GiFs, the body language, the reaction from both her and myself - that this is not a random passerby. It is also obvious by the “the throttle is on the right side” line that it is a light hearted joke, and by the fact that I pointed out she’s on a 636 that goes TWICE as fast - that it is in fact harmless chiding. It would also take 2 seconds to further confirm that by clicking on any other piece of content if there was ANY doubt left. Somehow you missed ALL of that - and only commented that my bike was “painfully slow” while I was still doing what could be considered felony speeds. It’s THAT mentality that leads me to believe that you don’t have a good mature grip on what bikes are good/used for regardless of your subjective opinion on style and brand. You immediately come across and someone that thinks a motorcycles only purpose is to do 180 and if it doesn’t it’s worthless. No one is asking you to like the Indian, it’s not even my favorite bike I own, and no one is asking you to even like the video or content. But when you double down after I politely replied the first time you lose any shred of credibility and “nicety” there was. It’s easy to keep scrolling, takes time and effort to be negative.

    Excellent. New motorcycle rider here; caved at age 55 after never riding a motorcycle during all my years but decided to go for it with an all electric Ryvid Outset as my first bike (top speed of about 80mph / 80 mi max battery range so fully capable on/off road as a Dual Purpose / Scrambler) and passed the MSF course recently. I should be taking delivery of my bike within the next week or two and I'll be starting out practicing in the closet empty paring lot, then gradually riding around the streets here in SE Florida (I believe you're in SW FL right?), so yes, Florida drivers are nuts so I'll be super careful. I've been hearing that lane position 1 & 3 are usually best unless it's on a fairly open road with little to no traffic and dry, then the center lane position 2 may be okay. But yes, intersections at lane position 1 or 3. I noticed a guy on a motorcycle just yesterday at a red light and he was in the center lane position 2 and I was thinking "well, that's not smart," lol. Keep up the good work! I watch your videos as well as Dan Dan the Fireman, MotoJitsu, MotoControl, and a couple others. All are super helpful, so thank you!

      thats awesome! grats on the new bike and passing the class. Bigger congrats on doing things the right way, taking in teaching and learning etc its so important, and i love both MJ and DDtF as well, great sources for practical information and really leaning in to becoming a better rider. Thats also super cool that you are picking those things up and noticing them for yourself in traffic - gotta always be learning and aware (also yes west central fl)
