I my guess is that kh4 will be released possibly next year or late 2024 early 2025 I am not totally sure about when the release comes out. I hope it comes out sometime next year.

I absolutely cannot stand the Ice Cream Beat mini game for the shear fact that it requires you to get a perfect score in order to pass that reason alone is why I hate it!!!

I actually enjoyed Kingdom Hearts 3 overall. In fact, my most favorite part of all would be the new Disney and Pixar worlds (yes, I love them more than the climax itself imo). That’s why I give it a 7.5 out of 10 (while Re: Mind gets an 8/10). I mean, say what you guys want about it, but at the VERY LEAST it had “consistency”, which is the most important thing I care about in terms of the Kingdom Hearts series.

a few thing i want to see changed. first ditch the atraction comands. they just felt stupid. second if you have multiple playable characters in a game, actually make them feal different to play as. give them different atack styles. every key blad wealder feils the same. third retire some worlds. how many times do we need to go to olypus collisum or port royale. as much as i loved nightmare before christmass you could do a rise of the guardians movies. hell disny could probably fo a young herculese level in quadradum. fioxes live action. multiple version of the same world just like tron.

It's a slap in the face really. He suckered people into buying KH via the FF characters and then removes them without any in-game explanation. He was actually going to make the characters act as if the FF cast never existed. And what's his official response. "The FF characters were just fan service. They're worthless now." Right, it's just fan service unlike many Disney worlds. Yeah we totally needed each and every Disney world up to this point. Fan service definitely had nothing to do with any world's inclusion... And then there's Axel. Yeah, he totally wasn't supposed to die in CoM, then to Roxas at the start of KH2, and then again later on in KH2 because the developers liked his character. .... Nomura, how come fan service is only okay when you're the one being serviced? Look, Nomura treated those characters as if they were shiny keys used to pacify a naïve infant. And for some reason he thought he could *silently* erase them from the series and nobody would care. If that's not an intellectual insult, then I don't know what is. The very least he could have done was give them a proper sendoff, but he didn't even respect the fans enough to do that. As usual, Nomura's execution is bafflingly questionable.

needs to focus waaaay less at disney and have more interesting things to do in game. side quests, things to discover.

The lack of Final Fantasy characters was only one of many problems KH3 had. KH3 combat is still worse than KH2, less worlds than KH2, and bad writing.

If it hasn’t been done, then a video on Keyblades themselves would be interesting. When you say “chosen by the keyblade” do you mean the kingdom key of the realm of light? Or the X blade? Or just keyblades in general? Also, why was the kingdom key destined for Riku? Will we ever see a keyblade that’s been forged by Soras heart like we do with Riku and The Way to Dawn or with Kairi and her keyblade? Can Mickey still summon his original keyblade or is he stuck with the Kingdom Key D?

simple update i really want to see. more costumes and cosmetic choices. also maybe more integration of the Unchained X saga. as that seems really important now. ((would rather a fully fledged Kingdom Hearts MMO but that's unlikely with how well FF14 is doing.))

I also believe we need more of the main characters. Considering how "important" they are, you sure do barely ever have them as playable or a party member. Thank god for mods because I'm getting real sick of Sora Donald and goofy over and over

If I had to choose just ONE thing that absolutely needs to be improved, they need someone new to direct the dialogue. I don’t mean the dialogue spoken, but the execution. There are so many awkward gaps between lines, long lingering on characters reactions, lack of character emotes in many scenes. And there’s also that thing where characters laugh too long together (but this is more of a staple in KH at this point). I think the dialogue needs to be snappier and quicker, with characters bantering back and forth more. That said, I’ve been with the series for years now and I’ll stick with it no matter what direction it takes

Well as content creators, we should be watching this stuff so we can comment on it. However, I recommend my old world videos I did leading up to KH3. I basically write out how each world could be implemented in more than we are "just" visiting.

Since _Final Fantasy VI_ is coming out in Summer 2023 and _Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth_ coming out in Winter 2023 (December 2023 or January/February 2024) It seems that Square Enix will release _Kingdom Hearts IV_ by Q3/Q4 of 2024. Why Q3/Q4 of 2024, because the trailer for _Kingdom Hearts IV_ looks to be far advanced in development in terms of graphics and gameplay compared to the earlier _Kingdom Hearts III_ trailers that were released in 2013-2015, which could imply that development for _Kingdom Hearts IV_ entered development since early-mid 2020. On top of that, voiceover was added which usually is the last step during the development of the game, on top of that with the game using the Unreal Engine 5 and it's compatible with Unreal Engine 4, they can easily transfer the models and assets of Kingdom Hearts III directly into _Kingdom Hearts IV._

Honestly I wish Sora could traverse FF worlds in 4 while the DISNEY stars make cameos. It'd be a nice role reversal and putting Sora in much more serious situations (that's not to say the Disney movies don't have those moments but FF is definitely much more grim) and especially because the light vs darkness concept comes FROM Final Fantasy. It'd be nice, but I know it won't happen so I'll settle for a Noctis boss fight or a Lightning cameo or something.

I love Final Fantasy so I’m a bit bias, but I definitely want to see more final fantasy characters within the kh series! Like you said, it’s kind of part of the formula for kingdom hearts.

I think they should because there story is different in Kingdom Hearts then in final fantasy so there is a lot more freedom to write the final fantasy characters in Kingdom Hearts

I didn’t know anything about Final Fantasy before playing KH, but all the characters we’ve gotten to see I really enjoyed and I do hope to see some in the next game. Especially Sephiroth, he’s my favorite I think.

Since KH4 is in development using UE5, 2025 feels like the safest bet. Missing Link is set to release as a closed beta this Fall. 2024 around Christmas is a maybe even though FFVII: Rebirth is using that year for its release.

I think 2024, probably around Christmas, as 2 years is the series standard as the only game that has taken more than 2 years from announcement to release was kh3 and if you take into account the engine switch it would have normally been announced in 2017 (because that’s when the first UE4 trailer came out) and that wasnt even 2 years away from the release

I know last time I uploaded was around the release of the FF7 remake but a lot of issues have happened in my life the last couple of years that made it really difficult to focus on creating content and being active here on RUclips which of course sucks because I've missed out on a lot but expect a channel update video tomorrow, for now I'm happy to be back! In Dream Drop Distance Xemnas explains that Axel "gained something" upon his sacrifice to save Sora from the nobody horde right before going to The World That Never Was in KH2. It's as you said, a strong heart is all that is needed to be worthy of a keyblade. It's not unlike how Sora was given the keyblade in KH1 after Riku embraced darkness. Their light was strong so not only did this make their nobody's more than just empty husks, but also made them worthy of their keyblades especially being two characters who have selfless characteristics as shown throughout the story. Lea earned his keyblade.

Ok, so I'm still a pretty new fan of the franchise and I don't remember much from what I've seen but I think I have an idea. When the X-Blade shattered, it split into 7 light pieces and 13 dark pieces, right? I always felt that that was a really weird number difference. But what if there were just more pieces of light that they just never knew of? The new line of princesses consist of Kiri again. So if you put ALL of the princesses of light together, that makes a total of 13 lights. 13 lights to serve against the 13 darknesses. How the characters didn't know of the missing 6 lights, I don't know. Buts it's still something.
