This meant that a self contained town had to be purpose-built: complete with schools, gyms, stores, restaurants, movie th...

There is no identity crisis what is this propaganda bro😂
😅😂maybe a bit dramatic title choice
To much fake information in the video. Macedonia doesn't change the name in 1993, In UN Macedonia take a membership with preference, not the name. 137 countries in the world recognized Macedonian name until not constructional changing in 2018. The protesters who painted the buildings from Skopje2014 change the name with Soros help. But the time of the Soros is gone ...
Greek land with Bulgarian people living inside. And its all zombified by Tito.
Skopje sucks. Greetings from the Korab and Sharr mountains. 👐
😅a bit harsh. Your region looks great, will have to check it out
Thank you for visiting. I hope you had a great time. One aspect often overlooked in these discussions is the history of Aegean Macedonia, which was not part of Greece until 1912. After its annexation, Greece committed atrocities against the local population, including killings, forced name changes, and the deportation of thousands of children who became orphans. These children were scattered across the globe and later denied the right to return home after the wars ended. This tragic chapter is now known as the "Macedonian Struggle" Regarding the claim that Macedonians are "just a bunch of Slavs," I want to emphasize that language does not define ethnicity. There are many examples of this globally. Turkic-speaking peoples in Central Asia, such as Kazakhs and Uzbeks, now speak Russian due to Soviet influence. Egyptians today speak Arabic, even though their ancestry predates the Arab conquests. These cases demonstrate that linguistic changes don't erase ethnic identity. Moreover, numerous Macedonians have received DNA results showing over 80% Greek ancestry, indicating that we have far less Slavic heritage than, for instance, Russians or say Slovenians. Our region has endured countless invasions and wars, which have shaped our complex identity. Even today, external powers attempt to divide us for their own interests. In light of this history, it’s clear that the situation is far more nuanced than many people might assume. At the end of the day we are all human and should strive to collaborate and create a better world for everyone with more LOVE and less hate.
Great stay, indeed 👍Thanks for watching and sharing some more historical context, there is a lot to dive into in this country/region.
Macedonians are definitely not Bulgarians now, but until 1945 they all were Bulgarians, used Bulgarian language and writing system and had Bulgarian names. This is the cause of their identity crisis, not the name of the state.
Interesting insight, thank you 👍
Neo greeks and fyromians are the difference faces of the same coin. Both of you are fake nations with no relations to the ancient nations you bear the name. The only difference between you neo greeks and fyromians is that the identity of neo greeks was created and pushed by western Europe 150 years before Tito decided to create the " Macedonian" identity of the Vardar Bulgarians. Also modern greeks are a mix of greekified Orthodox Albanians, Vlachs, slavs and anatolians. So besides neo greeks have nothing to do with the ancient ones, another fact is that ancient Macedonians were not hellens tol
You did not mention WHERE in Berlin this was. It looked like Neukolln.

Exactly nowhere. There was no Ottoman region with the name Macedonia. As a matter of fact, Macedonia reappeared at 1912 as a province of Greece after more than 7 centuries of absence from any official maps.

🇬🇷 MACEDONIA IS GREECE
😂 Blödsinn
There are 3 Macedonians today, North (Vardar) Macedonia with Skopje as the capital, South (Aegean) Macedonia with Thessaloniki as capital, and Eastern (Pirin) Macedonia. Historical and linguistics facts suggest Greeks and Bulgarians are not Macedonias, nor Macedonians are Greeks and Bulgarians - Macedonians are a separate entity with continuity. You can impede history, which is what Bulgarians and Greeks are doing, but you can't stop it: In time, all 3 will unite into one, called Macedonia, with Skopje as its capital, or another capital.
@@ab-nm6xi 1st of all the macedonian capital is Pella. 2nd of all, we will unite when you learn greek and become greek. That means never... I don't know what you're even talking about. It's not only far fetched but also historically incorrect. You spread bullshit information and hope to change the reality.
Macedonians in Aegean and Pirin Macedonia declare themselves as Greeks and Bulgarians. For them, the people in North Macedonia are Serbs and Albanians.
@Georgi.Delchev.Reborn Anybody can declare themselves to be whatever they like to be, no issue there. Serbs and Albanians are not Macedonians nor Macedonians are Serbs and Albanians: Macedonians are a separate entity. In the united Macedonia, Bulgarians, Greeks, Serbs, Albanians and all other nations would live together, just like they've always lived.
@@ab-nm6xi Then why North Macedonia wants to hijack the other two regions? Their population clearly recognizes itself as Greeks and Bulgarians.
@@ab-nm6xiWhy are you trashing stupidity? My one parent side is Uk 500 years ago, later Austrians or Germans, later Chechsliovakians, later Bulgarians , later Macedonians. And other side with thousands years on Balkan area as Serbian speaking and lately Macedonian. What the no brain talking that Macedonians are separate identity? Any is mixture living on changed place. And any can choose and is able to call self what ever wants at designated moment. And about speach that anyone and everybody will go on living... that trash talk tell to aliens, because only one thing anybody and everybody is not able to avoid, and that is death. If you are playing smart, you should know you are very stupid. (I read your other talks, don't worry)
North Macedonia is a KGB invention of Yugoslavia, the little Soviet Union. "North Macedonians" are in fact Bulgarians. The real Macedonian is part of Greece history. Alexander the Great has absolutely nothing to do with slav world !
😂😂😂😂 KGB was freely active in it's VASAL satelite called Bulgaria. And in it's other vasals like Hungary, Romania, Poland, Czechoslovakia. Certainly NOT in a FREE country like Yugoslavia.

It used to be a small town where a major factory that produced sugar from sugar beet. The whole area used to grow sugar beet that was then turned into sugar in that old factory. Now it is being renovated to be turned into a sea food packing factory, hence the fish city name. There are two other ones like it, one in Labinot - Elbasan and one in Gramsh. The Labinot one is the head office, complete as an agrotourism business. It has a restaurant, a hotel, a cinema, a big pool, playground for kids, ice crean parlor, bar/pub.

Fun fact: a little boy and a girl on that original wall art represent Soviet children in their school uniforms. The red star was given to the children of their first school years, who were forming so called Little Octobrist (Russian Октябрята = Oktyabryata) groups. In these groups children were prepared to join the Young Pioneers groups later on around the 3rd grade.
