Were you able to get both keyboard and mouse working with that library?? I spent a few hours but couldn't get the mouse to work, keyboard was working fine. If you got some references, that would be really helpful.
Madness in a good sense. If you further refine the design to make it slightly more balanced on the edges, that would be excellent. You can also use polyurethane casting into a silicone mold to make your parts smoother, as if they were made by pressure casting. Of course, you'll need to prepare a perfect surface on the printed 3D model beforehand.
First the software and electronic hardware has to be improved before i will worry about the casing.
Apart from English and German, no other languages are supported? Is ANSI or ISO/JIS not supported here ? The latter allows you to automatically support any other language when loading an alphabet in English. That is, when you load an English letter F on the key, when you change the language layout, another letter is printed in the native language added on the computer. Is it different on your keyboard?
for any other language can be created a key table. that what i am making for German in the video can be done for any other language.

The files for this version are no longer available on your website, can you please post the source-code and models to example Github or expand your website with a "legacy"-section?
so i am not even sure that i have all the files, i will check when i have some time but cant promise anything. Have you build it before and now wand fix it or why are you interested in the older version?
@@lynxware-org my father printed the old version like 2 yrs ago, and never built the electronics for it, and he recently gave the project to me, and I just want to complete it for him 😅 So in reality I'm just missing the source-code for the mcu

You can try to convert it into Air mouse
there is a gyroscope module but is currently is not good enough to work as an air mouse, but really cool to trigger shortcuts through tilting.
Looks like the index finger and thumb is doing most of the work
I have the mouse events on the thumb module, so yeah this is were the most work is happening
To be fair, my dad’s already only using his index finger on a normal keyboard

You thought about swappable batteries that you could put in a special hole on the exterior of the device and hold there with magnets ? You could even have a special charger for all the batteries (so you always have a fresh one and can always use the device) that would use that same magnet approach? it would be easy to put and take back and you won't ever make a mistake of inversing polarity. :3

How much does it cost to make a set of these from scratch?
somewhere around 100euro, it will be much cheaper to make it with 4 other people (to share the costs of the PCBs)

Very Cool! I always thought of making my own Controller for World of Warcraft, Using button assignments for Spells on a left hand mouse type of formfactor instead of the Keyboard. 🤔😎 Would it help to angle the Analog a little more Upward?
