That's funny because I also own a turbo mx5, way far from yours power range and I'm looking for a S4 ! I own a E91 325i N52 engine but it has no torque for towing the miata when I go to the Nordschleife. I'm still in hesitation between a B5 or a B8, I'm a bit afraid about the reliabity and lot of aged stuffs I have to replace, but in the same time,I love the B5 so much. I do almost everything on my cars and I've a friend who is professional mechanic so he has all the tools and the knowledge I need. Anyway we'll see when the BMW will be sold, it will depend what model I'm going to find first !

I would not use that stuff for any rubber components. You can get the same brand, but a silicone lubricant. Comes in a green can.

when you’re getting parts from a dealership it’s almost always gonna cost 10x more cuz they’re expecting to put it in for you aswell labor plus the dealership marking up the part super high

I LOVE the idea of a modern Shelby cobra, solid reliability, parts availability, and the ultimate sleeper. It gets to the point though where a built miata 1.6 and a moderate turbo setup would be reliable enough and far less money. That sound though!

Idk a whole lot about working on cars, but I’m here bc I’ve thought about getting a Miata lol. My moms lawyer friend literally has like 5 of them and she would sell me one for extremely cheap but I know they aren’t necessarily fast but the only way I’d want it is if I could at least get 300 to 350 horsepower out of it considering I’m sure with how lightweight the car is, it would be a beast.

I've had mine for 10 years BW K04 car, all I did was properly tune it from a base tune. Don't buy a china build and buy a well maintained car.

After 2 years and 16.000 km on my B6 convertible. My solo werks coils are rusting out and the anodized aluminum is getting powdery. My Audi is only summer driven so I am disappointed in the finish quality which is very poor. The ride is fine however but I will not get a second set.

Every B5 is 10-15k in maintenance give or take. Thats with and without mods or paying someone

Basically you need to pull the motor and do absolutely full maintenance at like 110-120k and do a re seal and replace all sensors with turbos

Pretty set on buying a B8 or B8.5 this year. Probably from a dealer, dont want a warranty, wanna get something stock I can work on. I work at an audi dealer and have a lot of friends who are willing to teach me how to work on it and go through things with me which I think will be really beneficial to me. The issue is finding one with good miles and service history. it's hard to not let miles scare me lol.

Just got 19x8.5 with 255/35/r19. Whenever I accelerate the car shakes. Whenever I lay off the gas, it rides smooth. Brought to a shop and they said I needed to recalibrate the tires to the car since it’ll mess up the transmission? Called to a bunch of Audi dealers and they say there’s no such thing as that.. any advice?

My car makes a squeaky squeaky noise not like yours but different kind of a squeaking noise it really squeaks and it's a Volkswagen and if anybody has any good tips on how to really fix a Volkswagen please make a video of it because I can't stand my car I like to get another one A different one a better one I mean the car runs but every little thing goes on this car and has to be fixed over and over don't get a Volkswagen

Installed these on my Jetta today. Honestly I’m surprised how well they ride. Better than stock for sure. I also don’t have mine completely maxed out but for the price you really can’t beat em. Are you still running these ?

Been Daily Driving my B5 S4 stage 3 150k for many months now and through winter. Zero issues with the car. Going to do the R8 coil pack conversion here (having some issues stuttering when cold) also with Bigger injectors and pump to go E85 this summer. Car was built to stage 3 10k ago no issues.

Turbo is way too big for the engine there's no mid range torque. To 60 mph a stage 1 A4 would smash it to pieces 😂

So I live in Alaska, and the highest octane here is 90, is there anything none tune wise I can do to a s4 B8.5, because all tunes are rated for 93 e85 and all that, well obviously we don’t have that up here at all, so if there was any way to gain HP without going stage 2+ with just simple bolt ons or something. Or is it just better staying stock, thank you.
