Impressive Views at Beautiful Jackass Lake | Overnight Stay in the Ansel Adams Wilderness

With our backpacks and fishing gear ready to go, my buddy Pierce and I will start our hike right outside of the Ansel Adams Wilderness and make our way up to one of my favorite lakes. After a short and scenic hike we'll arrive at beautiful Jackass Lake (the official but unfortunate name). We found an awesome campsite close to the lake, with the bonus of an amazingly vast view.

This was a mining town that began operations in 1860 and after producing no silver of consequence, Bennettville turned into a ghost town by 1890.
