This is great . Lower the cutting table so u can cut big logs. .. use the hill so it’s low on the ground to cut but at the same level as the rest . U cut hi side

It’s not working at all. I wouldn’t recommend buying. The gears stripped out after 4-5 months.

It really helped to get it up and elevated to save bending over so much! I’m hoping it works for firewood as good as Virgina Tech says it does for board lumber? 🤞🏻
Nice floor! You should maybe caulk the seams on top sheathing so water doesn't get down to insulation and lower sheathing. Or keep it trapped when it rains.
I did get it covered before rains set in. I think I’m also going to coat it with asphalt sealer. I’ve seen where a lot of people use it to paint the inside of their solar kilns.
Another good video. You made short work of the floor. I like the use of the ledger board. Might use that myself on my next building. Looking forward to seeing more of the build.

Hey, just watched your video. The tensioning bottle jack system can be completed by allowing the bottle jack cylinder to pass through the plate steel. On the outside of the plate steel you should mount square tubing that houses the spring and a press plate.
I shifted gears and I’m using threaded rod and a 4,000lb spring. That way once I get tension dialed in, I’ll just torque it down and try to get repeatable tension 👍🏻

I’m hoping to get good results with firewood in the kiln. Should work in theory I suppose 😂 I got the bundler complete and it was picked up a few weeks back. He seemed pretty happy with it and it performed well 👍🏻
