I have a 2018 f150 lariat 3.5 ecoboost with 10 spd trans that I bought two years ago used. Currently 110k on the dash. I have had no problems that you have. My truck pulls heavy trailers regularly, is driven through deep Michigan snow regularly, and is driven down rutted out dirt roads regularly. I also do burnouts from time to time 😂. My truck has been nothing but good to me, and that's a lot coming from me because I've always bought chevy trucks. My 2019 silverado was a big disappointment. Gave ford a try and I'm impressed. Sorry you went through so much crap with your truck! I haven't met a single person who hasn't loved their 2015 and newer f150

I got a 2019 f150 XLT 5.0 unfortunately I think it’s a lemon and the company sold it to me saying there’s no issues. There’s been lots of oil consumption, cats going bad every 4 months. Knocking noise when idling and lots of rattling when I let go in the gas pedal. The truck only has 84k miles in it. What can I do? Any tips?

Wow not even a 1,000 miles Id take it back to dealer and leave it there until it's repaired or replaced. No reason for these problems but further more no reason dealer can't go to bat for you. Totally unexceptable. I have a 2018 f 150 lariat none of these issues.. Sometimes u have to be a complete jerk to get what u want. File complaint with B.B. Bureau

I just paid my truck off. It’s a 2019 XLT the eco-boost at about 46,000 miles apparently my turbo way skates making a rattle now 46,000 miles just paid 48,000 for this truck.

Maybe we will get lucky and there will be a law suit!!!

I have a 2023 F-150 5.0 ten speed. Sounds exactly the same. I swear it has sounded like that since 2000 miles. I only have 10k on it now.

Sorry this happened. I am also glad you mentioned that the six cylinder does not have the same issue. I have the 3.3 in the same f150. Many people talk down the 6 cylinder six speed but they are very reliable and I am very pleased with it.

I bought a used 2019 coyote 5.0 v8 f150 for 14,000.00 dollars all highway mileage regular cab with no oil consumption or problems the transmission is a little wonky when cold otherwise isn't all good I heard that most of the wonky shirts is from the adaptive learning software system on the 10 speed transmission if you can find someone who can deactivate the adaptive learning I've heard that it resolves 90% of the transmission issues.

omg it usses that much oil i would change it asap then see if it eats oil and get rid of this . Shame nice truck they should give u new truck dealership will never loose out that money . I bet many people dont check their oil especially new trucks sorry to hear lemon law or something . maybe they dint put enough oil in change it and monitor

You better check rear end fluid . Mine was a qt low lol . Seen it many of times not filled to the top . Oh a qt will make the rear gears work but won’t last 200,000 miles . Keep all fluids toped off

I wouldn’t want a new truck with a pulled out dash .I work on cars I know . Make shit like we did in 1972 problem solved . Over designed and over engineering to get more $$$ . Less shit less problems that’s why I drive a 2012 XL zero options and I got a 63 Nova in garage .

I have the same issues on my 2019 dash. I didn’t know anythg about the problems of the 2018/2019 f-150’s when I bought mine a year ago. I wonder if my fashion covered under factory warranty and if I can find a dealer that’s willing to fix it? I still have the extended warranty. Can anyone tell me?

The oil consumption has been solved, the whistle noise I'm not familiar with, but I'm sure there is a solution. These are all problems that can be solved, maybe a different dealer. I have Fords, not a 2018, but I am very satisfied and will buy Ford again, my first choice. All makes have their problems, maybe more so if it's new design, that is always something I dig for information on.

I have a 2019 XLT, but with a 2.7 L . The only issues I've had since new were a check engine light on at 16000 miles. It turned out to be a bad map sensor. Then at 53000 miles the infotainment system went out. The sensor was replaced under warranty. It cost me 400 (with a oil change) to het the info system fixed. I have over 54000 miles on it now. I live in Michigan, and it's been to South Dakota and 3 trips to Florida. Mine was built in Kansas City, not Detroit. I'm SUPER happy with this truck!!!!

I have a 2018 5.0 XLT with 73K on it as of today. I guess I lucked out--I've had no rattles, no dashboard warps or rattles, and no engine whistles. Mine was assembled in Kansas City (maybe that's it??). I started monitoring the oil consumption when I first heard about the problem about 2 years ago, and find that mine uses about a quart in 3000-3500 miles or so, which is higher than I would expect for a moderate-mileage engine with regular oil changes at about 4000 miles. Not sure if you monitor theses comments anymore, but I'm curious as to what you ended up doing with the truck and how Ford treated you. Thanks.

I have a 2019 and my dash does that...other than that no real issues...3.5 ecoboost 10 speed...my wife has a 2016 5.0 6speed no issues other than some clicking from intake ...no real issues to worry about..we have about 150000 miles on both trucks...I am very pleased and happy with the trucks....
