I got my hamster today I don’t have the room for a 75 gallon so I got him a 55 gallon he’s loving it he’s got a bunch of stuff coming on monday

As a chinchilla owner, I could NEVER own a hamster. I get overwhelmed just thinking about all the supplies and cage cleaning, as well as trying to find your hamster if they had burrowed down in the deep bedding. Respect

I’d recommend some stands under the wheel and sand bath because I’ve had hamsters in the past burrowing and there wheel or sand bath would fall on them and I’d had one die form it so yea! ❤

Something you can do with the food is sprinkle it around the cage, It is just a way of providing enrichment and foreigng, then hammy can go hunting! :)
