Aaron Chacon of Coope Tarcoles, a fishing cooperative on the west coast of Costa Rica, active since 1985. Son of the former president of the cooperative, Aaron decided to continue his family heritage, as also use his education and technical skills to help manage the financial and administrative aspects of the cooperative. He talks of the struggles against the government's proposals to extend protected area donation into the sea, and other threats to their livelihoods.     Why don't Ladakh is shut down for Ladakh and people returning to our ancestral profession of farming, if Ladakhis are so concerned about ecology and environment of Ladakh? What is that suddenly happened in 2023 that Ladakhis are making hue and cry. 6 schedule is nothing but going back to our primitive life style and living. The fact is Ladakhis are pampered children fed always on the tax payers money. We are tribals just by categorisation. Otherwise Ladakhis are the richest and most prosperous and advanced community in India. Still 40% Ladakhis have registered themselves as BPL. Shame on this hypocrites calling themselves as Buddhist.
