Its a wrong myth because the double story its like building two houses, because the 1st floor slab its almost the same as the roof cost and on top of that you still need to build upper 1st floor wall and still need to roof.. but thats also depend on the size of the house you building

Yoh!! the red clay bricks are very expensive I couldnt believe the first time when I heard about the price.. but those bricks are strong and good for the foundation

The cost breakdown is for ground excluding the foundation, the number of pallets its 70 which makes 35000 bricks. From the foundation to ground floor wall the costs is above R300K

Yes the single lane they are using it to divide the rooms, but the other wall they using double lane... so on your side you didn't experience any issues when the drill for the electrical pipes?

Yeah

I think making your bricks is much cheaper than making your own bricks, but just need to make sure that the person who will be mixing the cement and river sand knows how to measure for it to be strong
