Thank you feeling confident i can do this myself now ! Subscribed.
glad to hear. please just make sure you support the arm before you remove the 18mm bolt
A while ago so you might not know or remember, but did you use a switch with red LED backlights? There only seems to be ones with white LEDs or it doesn't say at the moment
Thank you. I need to tint one next Monday
Thank you for this clear explanation . Blessings🕯️
You are so welcome
Nice informative video I like the clap of the leak off line instead of individually putting the stopper on . Much better .....was your engine up to temp before you carried out the leak off test ? or was it from cold start . thank you
So, I have a mid 2014 Highline(14.5 model -some updates) and I didnt have to take my door trim off. Took 10mins to release the trim that holds switch in, disconnect the window switch and the heated mirror switch and swap the window switch and put back in car.
Fantastic video as always. I really enjoy this channel 😎👌 Thank you!
Glad to hear it! Cheers
Is there a torque setting for the Rocker cover bolts.
send me your registration and i will check
@@AutomotiveDIYTutorials sv57xdt thanks
Good to see a well explained, no fluff guide by someone who knows what they are doing, Thank You!
You're very welcome!
My car bounces only once and then comes back to its original position. I have seen some cars that are very firm and I can't even push them down. What does that mean? Does it have to be very stiff and difficult to push?
Hi did you bought autoauth standard for unlock secure gateway? How did you do step by step for autoauth? Thank you, I bought autoauth standard but it’s not work for my car
I encountered a problem, the start-stop gives me an error. I mention that I bought a new battery, I put it in the car's memory and it still does the same. What do I have to do to make my start stop work? If you find video clips in this sense, please help, thank you
so glad i found this video, ive just done this earlier today as i started having issues getting into 1st and the inside gear knob holes were way off. ive adjusted it, there was a lot of slack on the left sided one which went with adjustment. took it for a little drive and it did seem better. ill go for a longer drive later when im not busy and check it properly. it started happening when the car was warm so thats the next thing to try later. Thanks again for the video.
No problem, glad it was of use
What size are the core plugs
25mm
Great video..👍 No need to be torqued then...?
I couldn't find any torque settings on my technical data for this sorry
Super informative, really helped me figure out the basics of my machine! Appreciate it👍
Great video mate! Just one question, should I replace the valve cover gasket after changing the plugs? Or can I keep the existing one?
I usually would to keep it right
Victor reinz, the worst. Instead you should use febi, because is made of nbr. Better than Victor. Cheers mate
Great video. This definitely help me. Thanks
Just watch it backward for step by step guide
One thing about the jack under that reinforced pinch weld is that that pinch weld will tend to bend when there's a flat jack under it. If you place a hard rubber hockey puck on the jack pad it will keep that pinch weld from bending. They also sell metal lift pads with a slot in them on Amazon to prevent the bending.
One of the clearist, concise and waffle free 'how to' videos on this subject. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
Do you have a video from the start 🤣 But thank you so much! I’ve heard VW interior is the same for Audi A1’s heat resistor, would you be able to confirm this?
How did you remove the old switches?
did you watch all the video?
Great video 👍, exactly what i need to do now to stop the water. Did you have to do a coolant drain first?
No you do not need to drain the coolant, just bleed the system when finished.
@@AutomotiveDIYTutorials Thanks alot. Much appreciated 👍
Amazing video thanks.
Hi, any ideas why the handbrake lever won't release properly on the iload van please
The shoes could possibly be stuck on due to lever arm siezed or something. Take off adjustment and remove discs to inspect

How do you know what voltage Noid bulb to us as wrong voltage can blow the noid bulb?
Hi, positioning lamps stay always on when headlight bulbs are on?
Good job. Tnks
Thanks!
No problem!
i have an issue with the 1st gear only, it gets stuck or blocked by something on the way in, i have to comeback to neutral and go back in, or try to go hard on the left first before pushing forward
I’ve the same problem
I have the same issue and i bought from amazon " replace for Gear Selector Shift Shifter Cable End Catch Pair 1J0711761C 1J0711761B Compatible With Polo Jetta GOLF Audi A1 A3 TT B6 B7 SEAT " and arrived today,,i didn't replace yet but if your gearbox its fine , the other issue can be are these two because of the bushes have broken from the years pass
Q@@johniogo

What year vw polo was this?
Around 2010 I think
@AutomotiveDIYTutorials is it the same on a 07 plate and are the 07s the 140mm short coil packs?
no help here
Why is that?
Great video mate! More power to your channel. By the way where do you get the pinout diagram of your ecu? Thanks appreciated
Lifesaver, got new bulbs a few days ago fitted at Halfords…upside down. Thankfully this video helped me fix the issue in a few minutes.
Glad it helped, they probably charged a good few ££ to fit too
Grazie
Thank you, this was really helpful.
My bolt by the hub is extremely rusted and won’t move. What’s the best way to go about this?
Remove the nut off first, then get the bolt turning. Get a punch and tap it out
This is a must also if you are replacing the discs
Hello mate. I need that door handle pulley replaced on my car. Mines has all cracked. Are you in london ? I have the part, I’ll pay you to do it for me please. Thanks
Im in Ireland buddy sorry
Great video 👍🏻 Does this apply on xenon projector headlights? The cutoff on projector headlights needs to start on the 2% or 0%?
Same for ALL headlamps, regardless of light source.
Hi, what autel is that?
Thanks for making the video. Can i just ask if its ok to reuse the old bolt? I've read that it should be replaced, as its a stretch bolt. However all the video tutorials show the old bolt being reused. Thanks,
Yes, absolutely. Its not a stretch bolt
@@AutomotiveDIYTutorials Great, thanks for that. You've just saved me £14
Top notch video
Thank you so much for sharing! Clear explanation and great demonstration. One Tip which helps with position of the measuring device. Open the bonnet and use for example the bonnet reststops to align the position (or any other left / right mutual bolts). You have the open the bonnet anyway. This will make it easier to ensure the measuring device is pointing straight at the headlight. Measuring the height of the bulb is an estimate but it can be improved by using a small laser light and leveler which points at the bulb. Then measure the height between floor and the laser light.
Thank you,brilliant and educative
OhhhhhhhhK 😂
