@@--SubaruSwapVWBeetle That third screw is a pita. I couldn't get mine to come out. If I want to go further, I'll have to de-solder the coils, or drill out the screw where it comes through, find a longer one, and asemble it with a nut on the back. You can get the brushes for $13 shipped If I got as as far as you, I would've done it. Maybe replace the bearings too. Actually a whole kit with bearings and all the electronics is $30 buck.s So that might be worth it as well, and You have a completely re-manufactured alternator. New ones are around 200 bucks.

@@ContentBoatLake-mw1dx Thank you! The person I bought it from found it. But it was the body/shell only. I had the frame and did all the other details to it and everything else.

I have two Beatles myself a 1955 and a 1951 they're pretty much all originally sent for paint interior rims tires engine running 2180 dual ports in both 48 progressive Weber's

@@ContentBoatLake-mw1dx all the body panels are OG to the car. And the patina is perfect! Just surface. Zero rot. The car could be easily painted.

Sorry for the late response. The fuel pump is a little loud but other than that I've had zero issues.

Mine still going strong after 6 years. I really haven't made too many videos since I finished it up. But I did make big changes this year and I have a ton of content that I need to go through and put some videos up. Plus I'll be starting a new Subaru swap this winter on my kit car. I'll be recording video during the process as well.

Nope! It ran 194° with that setup. On very hot days it would see 203°ish. Now that I've enclosed the whole setup it runs 188° all day long 😎

I've seen that video and LoL Jay looked goofy driving that Bradley 😂. As far as height I'm 5'9". I'm going to make some changes to the car in the next couple years and I will be lowering the floor pans. My friend did that to his Bradley and it's a huge difference.

I did make the radiator ducting. If you go on my Facebook page I have some of the photos on there. The radiator works for what I got set up and the Honda Civic radiator is a 3 core but if I lived in a mountain area I would probably use a scirocco radiator for more air flow. No everything is stock on the engine. Never relocated anything. Not sure why yours would be different 🤷

@@--SubaruSwapVWBeetle i looked at the fb pics, and I have a factory oil cooler or warmer that spaces the filter down about 4 inches. I'm going to delete it and leave the filter in its place directly to the block.

Yes! I tried to get the early look with the hubcaps so it didn't look like a 4 lug. Stay tuned tho cause I have new wheels and a lot of other stuff that's going to be changing. 😎👍

It's a Built transmission and it Has 3.44 ring and pinion, Quaife torque biasing diff, super beetle mainshaft along with 002 bus coarse tooth 3rd and 4th gears. Steel shift forks, chromoly pinion nut etcetera. This diff has the 002 37 spline outputs with custom adapter flanges. 002 splined to 90mm type 1 flanges so I can retain stock CV joints and axles or upgrade to bigger down the road.

I don't have help for you in that department. All I did was simply paint the cage and put it back together. If I had to replace the voltage regulator I would just simply replace the whole alternator at that point. But that's just me. If you have the parts I'd say go ahead and try it 👍

Ive just ordered the regulator and bearings for my 04 forester, I'll work out how it's done soon enough. Have u sorted urs yet?

Not yet. I have the parts and looks straight forward. New alternator is $265 and the kit was $30. I'll get a new soldering iron this week and post a video

Thanks! Temps hold steady. Sometimes it gets warm if it's super hot out but since I've enclosed the radiator and directed the heat out better it's perfect. I've also went to the factory Subaru fan. It moves alot more air than the cheap eBay fan I had.

Just standard threaded.

Since the video I have shrouded in the radiator with aluminum. Now I channel The Air from the front through the radiator a lot better. I have the video of when I did it all just need to edit the video and upload it so people can see it. If you go to the Facebook build page I have all the photos on there. 👍

The radiator does work. I have shrouded the entire radiator since this video. It helped alot with the cooling. I also swapped out the eBay fan for the stock Subaru fan which moves about double the air.
