Yamaha Tenere 700: Huzar exhaust install
The Huzar high exhaust for a T7 is a great deal. I like the looks and sound of it, and the install was easy.

Yamaha Tenere 700 - Oxford heated grips full installation
Просмотров 7 тыс.Год назад
Here's how to install Oxford heated grips on your Tenere 700 motorcycle. I connected to the auxiliary power connection, but you could also run them directly to the battery. I've installed these heated grips on a few motorcycles and they work great. Here's the link to the auxiliary connector adaptors if you choose that route: www.aliexpress.com/item/4000003983205.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.orde...

Yamaha Tenere 700 - fork height adjustment
Просмотров 3,6 тыс.Год назад
Raise or lower the height of your T7 front forks easily. If you've installed lowering links on the Tenere, raise the forks to lower the front end. If you've raised the seat, lower the forks to raise the front end. The Yamaha Tenere 700 is a bit high for some people so this is a pretty common adjustment that you can do at home.

Complete installation of stock Tenere 700 lowering links. The T7 is a bit high for some, although in my case I decided to raise it back up to factory height with stock links.

It’s unbelievable that ktm don’t supply heated grips as a add on, I’m just buying a new 390 adventure 2024 bike and my dealer won’t fit any aftermarket heated grips for warranty reasons ffs

Cool speed up video with wrenches. So I ended up purchasing a Canadian Edition today before the good financial rate ended. It arrives mid April and I've never sat on one lol. Was either this or the Transalp but the Yamaha seemed to fit me better. Give me the ability to go off-road more so I won't miss ATVing. Were those Yamaha lowering links? Think I asked you last time what your inseam was but I can't remember.

I put one of these on my 890, I knew as soon as it was mounted it was WAY too tall, at its lowest setting it blew the windstream a good 8" over top of my helmet. Meaning looking thru it all the time was how it was designed to work. A 220 dollar mistake on my part. Im 6 foot tall and this shield is built for someone closer to 6' 8" tall. Several other YT reviewers have said the same thing, while some only say "Its Great!". Its only money.

If you had used the Oxford Touring Grips rather than the Adventure grips you would not have had to trim them down. CB500X OEM Grips are 120mm long. Exact size of the Oxford Touring Grip.

I am doing this job soon. I will use the switched accessory plug under the seat due to comments about the controller's parasitic current draw. Also thinking of buying a cheap throttle tube to avoid butchering the original tube and grip.

get pry bar or piece of wood under rear wheel and when you about to remove link bolts pry rear wheel a little UP, this will release bolt easy instead of pulling them with pliers.

The AF771 fits also on the KTM 200 Duke with making a couple extra angle brackets to fit under the instrument panel and the installation of a small smoked windshield (china made) modified to fit under the AF7711 bottom piece. Also is needed a set of steering handle/windshield brackets which fit exactly on the top windshield holes to make the installation solid. Its a professional DIY job and you must be up to the task. It took me 3 hours to install. It is a great windscreen and it really took of the pressure of my helmet and cut down the noise. The above video is a great help for installation thanks to this OP.
