Oh man, now I'm even more excited about the arrival of my Strymon Deco pedal today. Mainly got it to warm up my jazz box but I knew it would end up sounding good on all sorts of stuff. Cheers!

I was in the market for a good wcoustic, was pondering on buying a taylor because of the price, but i kept holding off for some reason. Then one day, an older gentleman about 70, messaged me on facebook saying he never owned an electric and always wanted one, and offered to trade his songwriter for my ebony les paul studio, about 1200 used. I explained the price difference and he had no care, he just saw happiness in owning an electric. I felt blessed, such an amazing guitar. I had a bone saddle installed (nut is coming) and bone pins. Won't ever get rid of it.

I had one of these for about a week. I hated it! What was apparent was that everything appears to be digital, even the EQ. I don't have a problem with that per se, but there are large steps between each position on the knob which made dialling in the eq or effects impossible as often, the perfect setting would be in between the steps. I also didn't think the reverb sounded very good. It didn't make it to a gig with me unfortunately as I like the idea of an all in one simple board. I may try the Tech21 Acoustic Fly Rig next. I'm glad you like the pedal though!

Merci. I've been practicing this for the last couple weeks, and yes. It's a game changer. I'm still a Newbie, but my piano teacher is very supportive. I didn't start music until late in life and joked all my life that I was born with two left ears. But it's now two years since I bought the piano, and have become a music theory geek. I'm trying to play Moulin de Ville (Burgmüller) on my ukulele. La Petite Réunion is a great piece to use thirds. And don't forget that an inversion of a third is a sixth.

I love the sound to the Gibson in isolation but I had a slight preference for the Taylor with your singing. Not a significant or huge difference and it might even come down to the song. I wish they sold these with better pickups. Thank you for posting as most of the music store videos are useless.

Enjoyed the vid mate even understood the accent😆 but I’m a Londoner so know it well… I play that chord shape all the time I love it, that shape alternating the flat 6 is the opening of pinball wizard one of the first things I learnt on the guitar

I’m about to add that pick up to my gs mini. I wanted to do the install but not sure if I’m capable of sanding down the saddle so it’s level. Was that difficult?

I used to do this in open chord but kinda hard to maintain upper strings sustain, espescially when i play barre chords.
