I really would like to see a final episode on binky. An update would provide some closure after 9 years.

Looks like the only change to the car since it was at Weston Park the previous year is that the paint work is now full of swirl marks and fine scratches. Can see in some of the videos since it was painted that the car was absolutely covered in workshop dirt and metal particles. What a waste of all the effort that was put into the paint job. The cold starts and revving of the freshly rebuilt engine while it's still only on a rough base map and not even run-in will really not be doing it any good either. Seems like they've just lost all motivation for the project. What a shame.

After the years following this build, it's nice to see Binky finally moving under it's own power, albeit a bit hit and miss but that's to be expected considering Binky is a prototype and a one off

Typical Mini [Non starter] Try the Dizzy or Cap Bro. Built MANY Minis in my time which is why i stayed the course on this build.

that tickover needs a bracket making to hold it up!

Yes good to see, but too early yet, it is not yet really finished enough to go on show. I would love to see the finished car and admire all those brackets.

Nik is a clever guy, he installed a switchable tune to go from sorted to balky carburetor cold start mode on demand. Makes for quite the realistic depiction at a rustic venue.

Yes running on three plus nasty bottom end rattle on the cold start before the oil pressure came up…Also I noticed the special trick paintwork on the rear side panels has gone? (Or is this a Mk2 Binky?)
