I think you're overthinking it. It looks good The only thing I would do I think would swap two of the trees for the two of the bushes I'd put the trees against the wall and the bushes on the other side of the sidewalk or the trees are. That way the line is sight is a little better

I think a wonderful touch for the music shop would be a piano key sidewalk right in front of it, once you finish with its remodeling. It would be a touch of whimsy to otherwise plain sidewalks and also be a big visual clue as to what shop it is.

Looks great, but you need a railing on the right side of the lowest level.

The panels under the stairs seems out of place. Maybe adding vegetation or random stickers for graffiti would help? Definitely a 3rd floor

Why don't you use half arches incorporated into the walls instead of all these pillars

You could add arches under the landings to match the walls .

Use an 8 x 10 plate instead of the 6 x 8 plate and tie it into the upper wall. The top landing is too small.

You could put a point in the track to divert the engines into an engine storage shed in that green area.

How you build the walls?

If you have the train engine shed (or you can build one) you can put it next to the entrance tunnel 😉👍

Put a Marathon station in the green space then have a cute brunette work there who will ignore me just like real life 😂

You could build with the style, not the color, for the christmas houses. The tunnel looks great. The gap on the right side is prototypical. Retaining walls often have gaps. Leave the side open in case something derailed. Just cover the side of the plywood. 🫵👍✌️

Modular LEGO wall that is easily removable. Build in sections that clip together at the top.

About the Ninjago City sets, I dunno why, but in my headcanon the water on these sets are supposed to be sea level, and the walk "upstairs" is supposed to be on the same level as the official Modular sidewalks. But most of the channels I'm subscribed have them on top of hills or mountains, serving as source for waterfalls - and I like them that way anyway. Also, upvote for converting the microscale buildings into minifigure scale.

Just some black fabric on the side of your "mountain" so you can still have access to the train line if something happens

I agree with the cutaway tunnel idea. I said that on the last video too. Making your own modular buildings would be cool. It would give you some scope of what to put in the town. Instead of building a retaining wall all the way along use green and earth tone bricks to make the sides up so the mountain reaches the ground below the platform. The tunnels should look like they were cut into the mountainside.

I think you should use assorted earth tone bricks on the exterior of the tunnel intermittently to show a cut away scene for the train in the tunnel. On the inside of the track use plates with assorted slopes and stand them up with brackets and SNOT bricks to look like the inside of the tunnel. I think you should combine one houses of the world with one winter village to make a 32x32 modular like the jazz club

About the Winter sets, these buildings scream "MODULAR!" even before assembling. About the elevated platform, now it's perfect for a Space Center - and thanks to its safe position, it can be an actual Space Center, and not a museum like it was becoming before. 😉
