Something not seen in the skies anywhere since the 1940s, this realistic recreation is a spectacle that has delighted Classic Fighters crowds since its introduction four airshows ago!
Representing another uniquely Omaka experience, our replica V-1 rocket, (aka...'Doodle Bug') dazzled airshow crowds when it first flew, since everyone thought it was a theatrical 'prop' that was going to be blown up on the ground without moving (after several others were destroyed in that manner).
Definitely an 'only at Omaka' moment, this very capable machine provides a totally unique viewing experience and reminds us of how, during those disastrous period of human conflict, new levels of engineering explorat...

An absolute treat to watch it being done properly, which results in it being so calm and stress-free. Note the lack of pumping the elevator and dancing on the rudder pedals. Very well done, and even a physical fuel check along the way.

The yak 3 was probably the best russian fighter of WW2. Fast, agile and deadly in competent hands. The luftwaffe learned real fast not to F**k with this little fighter in a turning dogfight cuz it would outturn both the 109 and Fw190 .

While I'm not a big fan of Russian politics, I have to admit, these guys design and create some of the most beautiful aircraft I've ever seen. Russia has impressive aeronautical engineering.

Now days it would be insulting and non American for anyone flying one of these junkyard planes in the United States of America. Most these guys are want to be fighter pilots. Take it from a real fighter pilot from the Air Force that flew F-4’s and F-16’s.

Reproduction. There is an original complete Yak-1 under restoration to fly in the UK with a Klimov motor.
@@blockheadgreen_ That Yak-1 project was for sale not long ago and it has the only working Klimov V12 right now. The engine was restored in the UK.

Это як-3. :)))) Можно конечно спутать с як-9 у или як-9 ут, но легко с первого взгляда по фонарю определить, они разные.Не вдаваться в другие особенности.
Ага, Як-3 с Аллисон, так и запомним. Не вдаваясь в другие особенности, никаких Яков в этом видео нет.
Основное и определяющее отличие ЯК-3 от ЯК-9 - это уменьшенные размеры планера. Фонарь может быть какой угодно, а как летает самолет определяется планером и двигателем. По видео сложно определить размеры, но здесь имхо больше похоже на Як-9 - крыло вроде как нормальных размеров, не маленькое.
@@dddvvv4111 як 9 тоже были разными и законцовки крыла разными и в зависимости от вооружения фонарь сдвигался ближе к килю...
Захаров, командир 43 дивизии, где был полк Нормандия-Неман, очень любил этот истребитель, целую страницу любви посвятил ему в своей книге.

@Злобный орк Новодел и пусть. На оригинале по прошествии стольких лет летать опасно , да и не сохранили их. Главное , дух эпохи предаёт.

Ничего никто не восстанавливал,: новосибирскому авиазаводу в 90-х г американцы заказали аж 22 самолета Як-9.. своих двигателей не оказалось, поставили Алиссон. Вот теперь и летают по всему свету украшая авиасалоны наши Яки. Кстати, в США летают МиГ-15, МиГ-17, МиГ-21. А мы своего ничего не сохраняем

If I had the money I would love to buy a YAK 3 . THEY are the tightest turning and best low altitude performing aircraft of WW2. THEY also seem to retain their energy.
The YAK-3: 1) They had excellent performances, but for very short periods - it had the role, in fact, of interceptor; 2) To have the performances as above, they removed everything from the aircraft (even the radio), the armors left just the minimum necessary; 3) Again for the points above, they limited fuel to the minimum amount, drastically reducing the range of action. If I really have to buy a Yakovlev from World War II, I would have preferred the one done and finished, a full-fledged aircraft, that is the Yak-9 UM.
