CLASSIC FIGHTERS 2015 - A GLIMPSE INTO NEXT YEAR'S SHOW....!
Here's a taste of what you might expect to see at next year's Classic Fighters Easter Airshow at Omaka Airfield, Marlborough, New Zealand. There are many sights that you just won't see anywhere else and with over 100 vintage / warbird / display aircraft, it is the largest show of its kind to be seen anywhere south of the Equator. All of these images were captured at the 2013 Classic Fighters show.
Omaka Airfield is also home to the world-renowned Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, which benefits from any proceeds from the airshow, and which was recently the centre of attention for their Royal Highnesses, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who toured the museum with Sir Peter Jackson on 10th April this year. William and Kate clearly loved the displays at the Omaka AHC and you will too when you come along for Classic Fighters next year.
Allow yourself plenty of time at the airfield and plenty of time to see the other delights of Marlborough such as the famous wineries, the amazing Marlborough Sounds, whale watching etc etc. Why not take a week in the province and make a family holiday out of it?
