Honestly, I kinda like this version better. Last winter, I spent a lot of time commuting across the city at dawn and dusk on transit, and I would frequently put on the more relaxing Freedom Planet themes as a way to calm my mind before work. Something about riding a bus or tram through a city in winter darkness while listening to this song is just pure bliss.

Serpentine's theme is kinda just "oh look its this asshole again" and he has the personality to back it up, yet hes consistently one of the biggest threats in the game. every time he appears you KNOW there is a damn good reason for it.

0:15 - 0:23 dont know what it is about that sound but I love it.

Its weird how slow these beta tracks are. Still great music just cant imagine zooming through levels with them.

Honestly i think merga boss figth is just better if you play it as lilac, the emotional weigth of them being the last 2 water dragons figthing for their own morals and objectives is just too strong compared it to playing it with carol, neera or milla

The song itself is amazing, but after playing the game with a haptic feedback device (Buttkicker in my case), it feels all the more exhilarating. Like the feeling of taking that first step into an amusement park. I wish there was an extended version of this.

Re: Aqua Tunnel. Didn't use it because it didn't fit the mood I was going for with this. I didn't even want to read that nightmare thread where the question was posed, but there's the answer.

The beginning part reminds me of part of the law & order intro for some reason. 💀

Now that I think about it, neither FP1 or FP2 has a desert-based stage... You _could_ argue DV1 from the former, but I don't classify that as a "desert" level. Maybe someday... But not today. Perhaps a third game, but I'm holding out until actual confirmation of that, if we ever get one.
