In terms of the cliffhanger of GOW 2, it's interesting to me that Halo 2 essentially did the exact same thing story wise, but got way more criticism for padding out the story into a third title. And either way both Halo 3 and GOW 3 got just as more acclaim with even more sales, so it worked out in both cases, but it's weird how fanbases will react to similar dev decisions on different games.

For the record, we didn't use any of Jeter's moves in the game. This was all for show (for the press). We hired college and minor league athletes for the (thousands) of moves recorded over many days. It was a HUGE effort.
