Bro I like Eternals, quantamania, Multiverse of Madness, Shang Chi.. The Marvels wasn't too bad either. Love and Thunder disappointed. GOTG vol. 3 was awesome 🐐. The best After No way Home. (Phase 4 and 5). I dont get the hate. But I also think too many female leads will make things boring.

Well. Great job you guys. Now we’re never gonna see them again . One of my favorite and most unique superhero stories ever and we’re never gonna see them again along with the inhumans, moon knight, werewolf by night, and angry Hulk. All the best parts of modern MCU just going to movie limbo. Hope everyone likes Brie Larson and She Hulk, because that’s what we’re gonna get now instead of the above

Eternals was not a bad movie. Compared to other garbage marvel studios has released in a while, it is far better. They should definetly make part 2.

Yes Kang was underused but he was still threatening and had a great performance. Zemo literally broke the avengers apart. The high evolutionary is probably the most hated mcu antagonist in terms of pure hatred and you decide to put him in c tier?

Most people want nostalgia/member berries in the MCU more than they want something new or creative. Nothing exemplifies that statement more than the glowing reviews of No Way Home, a movie that has moments for people to clap when “person they remember from older movie” appears

Thank you for including "Air". I saw it on its opening weekend and am still thinking about it, especially Viola Davis in a small yet powerhouse performance! Yes, I knew how the movie was going to end, but what an enjoyable ride getting there!

I got my top 7 so far 7. Scream VI - This being my first experience with anything outside of Scream 1, this took the franchise outside of the town setting to a refreshing metropolitan area. The film itself is fucking goofy but at this point the snake is eating itself. 6. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves - An actual fantasy film that is about the nerdy shit that fantasy is about. Lacking in some plot but gets the job done 5. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - The MCU is a tired old machine that is killing itself with its endless growth mindset, but this works as a *movie* which is nice to see from this machine. 4. Running with Speed - Summoning Salt is a good documentarian for a niche subject and while I enjoyed this movie if you are not into speedrunning this film is not going to convince you that this is something to become interested in. It's runtime is way too long to do that, but as an offering for the hardcore fans this is great. 3. Creed III - Ending missed its chance to be impactful but the story up until that point is so strong and engaging that its hard to ignore the craft Jordan operates within behind the camera. 2. BlackBerry - Everything movies like Flamin Hot and Air wish they could be. I have such a hatred for movies like Air and Flamin Hot because they're propping up these products as life changing things that empower everyone who buys into the myths these filmmakers craft. BlackBerry tells you from the start that these people are terrible and that this product while important is horribly misguided but also properly critiques capitalism. 1. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - The wait was worth it. I have nothing to really add to how good this movie is. It is that good.

2023 isn’t over yet

The super hero genre is dead for a while. It was a good ride, but after endgame they increasingly devolved into CGI messes. Batman will continue, because it is more a vigilante story than a super hero story. Fear not, the capes will return, but they need a little sabbatical to build up demand.
