I’m not too sure about Fraser winning over Farrell and Butler. I don’t think Farrell will win the Oscar, I think it’s mainly between Fraser and Butler. I don’t completely see Farrell winning at BAFTA, I also think it could go to Austin Butler. I don’t see Farrell winning at SAG. It’ll be either Butler or Fraser winning SAG, which will most likely determine the Oscar winner. The Whale not receiving a best picture nomination hurt Fraser’s chances. The Academy doesn’t love comeback narratives or fat suits. Austin Butler is the perfect candidate for that win.
Here are the 2023 lists of Academy Award nominees of 2022 that I hope they’d won (even though I never saw The Fabelmans nor Everything Everywhere All At Once), but they’re all great, fantastic movies. They don’t need an Oscar. The Oscars needs them. Awards are overrated anyway. But anyway, here they are. BEST PICTURE: Everything Everywhere All At Once - Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, and Jonathan Wang, producers (Even though I never saw that movie though, but I think it deserved that win though. I really want either Avatar: The Way of Water, Elvis, or maybe even Top Gun: Maverick to win Best Picture too, because they’re all such great movies. If Top Gun: Maverick wins for Best Picture, then that means that Tom Cruise will finally win an Oscar for producing the film!) BEST DIRECTOR: Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert - Everything Everywhere All at Once or Steven Spielberg - The Fabelmans BEST ACTOR: Austin Butler - Elvis as Elvis Presley BEST ACTRESS: Michelle Yeoh - Everything Everywhere All at Once as Evelyn Wang BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR: Ke Huy Quan - Everything Everywhere All at Once as Waymond Wang BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Angela Bassett - Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as Queen Ramonda BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY: Everything Everywhere All at Once - Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert or The Fabelmans - Steven Spielberg and Tony Kushner BEST ADAPTED SCREENPLAYS: Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery - Rian Johnson; based on characters created by Johnson and the film Knives Out or Top Gun: Maverick - Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie; based on the film Top Gun written by Jim Cash and Jack Epps Jr. BEST ANIMATED FEATURE FILM: Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio - Guillermo del Toro, Mark Gustafson, Gary Ungar and Alex Bulkley BEST ORIGINAL SCORE: Babylon - Justin Hurwitz BEST ORIGINAL SONG: "Hold My Hand" from Top Gun: Maverick - music and lyrics by Lady Gaga and BloodPop BEST SOUND: Top Gun: Maverick - Mark Weingarten, James H. Mather, Al Nelson, Chris Burdon and Mark Taylor BEST PRODUCTION DESIGN: Avatar: The Way of Water - Production Design: Dylan Cole and Ben Procter; Set Decoration: Vanessa Cole BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY: Elvis - Mandy Walker BEST HAIRSTYLING & MAKEUP 💄: The Batman - Naomi Donne, Mike Marino and Mike Fontaine BEST COSTUME DESIGN: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - Ruth Carter BEST FILM EDITING: Elvis - Matt Villa and Jonathan Redmond or Everything Everywhere All at Once - Paul Rogers BEST VISUAL EFFECTS: Avatar: The Way of Water - Joe Letteri, Richard Baneham, Eric Saindon and Daniel Barrett
Definitely will at some stage this year, whether it be a video series going through each decade or simply reviewing some of my personal all-time favourites :)
You fail to realize that despite the critics choice loving EEAAO way more than they loved Tar, Blanchett still beat Yeoh. It wouldn’t be wise to rule out a legend like Cate. She has a strong chance of sweeping.
Top Gun crew, now we rise

I was wondering if you plan to post a video of your favorite movies of all time? Perhaps after the oscars?
Definitely will at some stage this year, whether it be a video series going through each decade or simply reviewing some of my personal all-time favourites :)
It will be Austin Butler at the Oscars.
realistically , yeoh only has to win the sag to win the oscar 🤷🏽♂️, her narrative is too strong. still rooting for cate but 🫠

It is almost as good as a 50/50 if Yeoh wins the SAG, hoping she does to make things interesting.
@@poett8875 She killed her chance of winning for joining the Andrea Riseborough campaign!
@@felixtalksfilm3028 she is easily winning best actress.
Cate Blanchett didn't win Golden globes & SAG & that would affect her.
All movie bloggers say the same. Sick of it
Love Michelle Yeoh! Hope she wins!
That unlistenable trash song from RRR will not win despite payola and hype. Enough.
Personal preferences aside, it is probably going to win.
@@felixtalksfilm3028 don't think so but ok
are u from England?
@@kiranghopal9990 I have never heard a more terrible song than this atrocity and utter garbage in my life. That's all you need to know.

If Cate Blanchett wins then it’s all over💯

20:41 thanks for you're prediction & you mentioning it will get more attention than *Best Picture*
Really means a lot🙏
