So, Tyler. Do you think the upgrade controller for the RR is worth it for $249? I have a RipRacer and was thinking of getting it for some gravel mountain bike trails I'm planning for a little extra OOOOMPH, or do you think it's overrated? How fast would the 52v/15.6 battery drain if you did throttle only at near-30 MPH with the upgrade? I'm thinking within minutes. Also, is it true the throttle speed drops down from 30 MPH when the battery gets below 80%?

We tried ordering two of these with the two batteries and upgraded fork. Waited over 2 1/2 months and they could not provide an eta. They agreed to refund the money and started the refund process, but after 6 days the pending refund went away. I had to file a complaint with my credit card to get the money returned. Glad we used a credit card or we would be out over $5,000. We also filed complaints with the FTC for fraud against this company, I really think it's a Ponzi scheme. I have proof of everything including texts from the owner so just trying to save others the headache we are going through. Definitely consider different options as of Sept 2024!!!

I’ve been shopping around & found some 90/100-16 rear & 70/100-19s for a great price. Do you think those will work & I don’t think those will need an extra link but 🤷🏻‍♂️… Stay safe but ride free also check out some moto gear chest & knee pads for some extra comfort riding in sketchy areas.🫡

I got mine for commuting three weeks ago. The bike is killer, it does everything so well. It's easy to ride, comfortable and the acceleration and speed are perfect. I got the red one from Luna. No complaints. Recommended bike.

If they could manage to fit double the battery capacity for $5000 that would still be appealing.

I drive a 2014 wrx and its not fast by any means but banging through the gears with a turbod engine is a far more fun experience imo than going straight at 130 mph about to die.. cant wait to get my bike !

I remember riding down the Fred Hartman bridge in Baytown Texas hitting 52 mph. I was scared to death on my road bike. Needless to say a had to replace brakes after that ride.

You better carry extra sets of brake pads if you ride this bike daily cause you’ll need them. 😮

I like any review that talks about the cons of the bike. I test road a RipRacer and did not like the ride. The single speed and lack of suspension to me was a major drawback. Also the cadence sensor gives it a real jinky feel. My current bike has a mid drive and is much more refined, giving me better speed control. This bike is fine if you're looking for riding around on the throttle only primarily but overpriced in my opinion when you look at other options in the $1,000 to $1,500 range.

I use a super bright flashing bike light so folks don’t pull out in front of me. Niterider Micro 900. The cars can’t see your thin bike and headlight as you’re approaching.

interesting but i like the ariel rider line. i do not need extra speed. motor impressive but i ride a sondors side step and im going fast enough. i have two sondors and i like the 27.5 big tires. i like being bigger in traffic. soon the law is going to change because ebikes are going too fast. some big crazy accident will force registrations and other ills. be safe out there.

So the big bridges "viaducts" were removed and replaced with? They seem to tall to just remove and still have the trail connected side to side. Nice video!

I got one on closeout sale last fall for 950! It is the bright yellow color they discontinued... my wife liked it so much I bought a second one. 2 52v ebikes for less than 2 grand is a STEAL! Gotta get the upgraded controller on mine. Just crossed 500 miles, no issues. What front fork is that? Hard to find a 20x4.0 one that isn't some garbage for 200 bucks

Have you updated the gear ratio to be accurate the stock setting is a few miles an hour optimistic compared to the actual gps speed, this will affect the distance that the bike will calculate you’ve traveled as well
