Did the dial end up being 34.5mm? I'm building almost the exact same thing and the case said 36mm, but the information I'm getting from various sources is that the cases actually need a 34.5mm dial. Is this correct.

That moonswatch looks very fake. The color is all wrong and the clasp's plastic part should match in color to the body.

Love how you didn’t edit out the part where you got stuck trying to seat the movement. Perfect timing as I just got parts in today (I hope I got everything anyway ;) This will be for my first build so every little hiccup and obstacle I get to see should only help me to be more successful. How many other people, such as myself, who have never assembled a watch, are shouting at this video, your holding it wrong! You have a movement holder but you don't clamp the movement in properly, so why bother? You repeatedly grab the hands at the wrong end, making life difficult for yourself and you don't wonder to yourself, what am I doing wrong, you just keep doing it wrong! I appreciate it's a fiddly process, but if you keep going wrong, you have to come to the conclusion that it is you, not the fiddly parts! 1, grab and hold the hands at the outer end of them, leaving the middle free so you can look to line them up, don't grab them by the middle! The rodico is the same approach, attach the far end of the hand to the putty, leaving the middle part free to allow you to guide it into position. 11 minutes and I am out.... I hope you managed to succeed in the end.

how do you chose your case when buying your movement? how do you know it will fit good?

Wow. I just made the same watch 2 weeks ago. Same case, same dial, same hands. The only difference is that I re-painted the GMT hand because I like it black and 24 hour numbers on that dial are black. And it looks like you had the same problems with the hands that I had. GMT hand and hours hands were a bit too close after the 1st attempt. Cool. And you did a Panerai homage. I've built several watches with ST3600, but never a Panerai. Going to watch that next. Thanks.

37 minutes, man I was nervous to watch! The most important thing in the end, how is the mechanism itself sealed in the box? Nothing was seen. Where is the plastic ring that keeps the mechanism from moving? How does it fit, how does it stand?!

This gmt hand is nice to use like compass that tells you where sun is in 24 hours all to time!

Yes sir its not easy and is nice to see you struggle a little like the rest of us mere mortals ;? Now try doing it when you have a benign tremor which i have due to motor neurone disease 😢the longer it takes or the more it goes wrong the worse i struggle. So i can't really do it tbh, i stick to the easy stuff. But I've tried with watches that need repair but I'm not to concerned if i break it which i generally do but that's how you learn right. 😮😅😊

Hi you can do this stuff way better than i can but I've watched many videos like this and i have to say you make me nervous with the rest you handle the parts 😮 as all other builders are very careful with their movement's also was wondering why you didn't clean the case glass and face b4 you inserted. Only saying as others do that. But you made it look easier than i would for sure. 😊

Does the gasket always come with the case?

Yes, I have bought from amzwatch more than once. I even bought a new Omega Speedmaster which came with the fancy box and packaging. I am thrilled with all my purchases here. I would purchase from amzwatch again for sure.
