This mission took a few hours and about ten attempts for me. In the end I used a fleet of a stock Siloship, Cutter and the rest were Gunskiffs. Turns out, a couple of Devastators and manual triggering is very effective at stripping radiators off an entire drone fleet with the only downside being that unarmed drones start thinking they are missiles. The longest part is a direct engagement with USTA capital fleet as it is a laggy mess with every frame taking few seconds, but it is made shorter by softening their armor with volleys of about 150 Strikers each. After dealing with drones and capital ships, missiles are just as easy as simply intercepting them and putting all ships in a broadside with range ignored.

How come weapons have restricted maximum ranges? Shouldn't a shell just fly indefinitely until it collides with something?

I don't know if i missed somebody pointing that out earlier, but the reason for you not being able to get the closest approach range below a certain value seems to be your orbit being out of plane of that of the Laser Show.

is there an alternative link to this? I can't tell if it's dead or if I have to get a patreon account to access it, and sadly, I wouldn't give patreon a dime at this point

Even though the discord design doesn't work anymore(has 17kms DV now) , thanks to your tutorial and KSP, managed beat the 13.8 kms record. Had to manually capture at periapsis flyby, with matching orbit direction, do a planar change and then plot auto rendezvous. Your heads up on how to use Mars plane of reference and orbit projection did the trick.

I like to move my character along a fence early on if I have too many Zeds attacking me. If you keep your character’s shoulder against a low fence when backing away and fighting, zombies sometimes fall over the fence when you shove or hit them. Sometimes they fall over on their own too, which will thin out the herds.

bruh, i remember when i went in blind, it took me a WILE to learn proper combat, and even though i know stealth is a thing? i never learned it XD

An issue I don't often hear addressed with new players is their habit of trying to hover the aim cursor *on* the zombie. So when the zombie is too close, the player sometimes ends up turning away because their cursor is too close, and it registers as aiming behind. Instead, the player needs to keep that cursors *behind* any zombies they're trying to hit. That way, they never get that awkward 'turning your back to a zombie while trying to hit it' situation.

Its like you knew I was about to start again at trying this game. Always ended up dead after a few days of looting cos of zombie fighting. Thanks for this.
