This video is quite odd; some parts are factually incorrect. I recall seeing 'scene' teens in real life until around 2014, when it largely faded away, and the emos until about 2017. i wasw even a 2016 emo im still emo and at the time i was to young to actually dress scene back then but im scene now

As a veteran vocaloid lover, if you don't credit the artist, we'll often cold shoulder you. Also, it's really time to stop the misinformation that she's always underage, she's not. Miku is whatever you want her to be, and tbh, the more adult songs really don't portray her physically as she appears in her original form. Yes, she's sexualized, and yes, many people sexualize the underage version of her bc they're fkn sick in the head, but this narrative from non veteran consumers that these characters are always rigidly a specific age or in specific relation to each other is getting really old. There's no canon anything because EVERYTHING is canon about Miku. Genuinely every single song is technically canon; we wouldn't have old lady Miku if this wasn't true, which we do. It doesn't make me angry or anything, but it's very disheartening to see a lot of people being introduced to vocaloid with blatant misinformation.

I doubt you've gone this long without this recommendation... but a PERFECT pallet-cleansing show is Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. It is pure, unadulterated joy, sweetness and kindness.

Sasaki to Miyano is one of my favourite anime/mangas ever, but I honestly love the spinoff Hirano to Kagiura even more, when I was watching the Sasaki to Miyano movie and it started off with Hirano to Kagiura, it literally made my whole day 😭

Funny enough, Makoto was acting like a dating sim player, but his game just like many games of the genre do NOT have the harem ending, or golden ending as they like to name it, and people hated the guy because as players would attest, you only go for one capture target, you do not bed half the cast and hope to get out scoot free... and yet, I'm still wondering what was the big idea of turning that exact eroge into an anime, where the story is lame, the protagonist is unlikeable as it is not "you" playing, but some dude you follow around and it's only value was the shock value endings you get.

ive had my stardoll acc since 2010 (i made it when i was like 8) and i try to keep my acc active so i dont loose the 14 years of shit i own on there but its soo empty nowadays it feels like im playing w no purpose and im so scared that one of these days the website will just shut down out of nowhere and i will loose a HUGE part of my childhood; so many of us have put alot of time and literal physical money into the game its crazy how the company that owns stardoll doesnt take care of it. I was a rave kid in the late 90s and loved the style of scene kids. I was a little bit too old to get super into it but something magical happened when I hit 40 and that was that I stopped caring what people thought or what I was too old for. My husband is the same way and is in the punk subculture. We love going to live shows together and dressing as weird as possible 😂

Tbh I like wholesome queer anime / series and Sasaki and Miyano or Heartstopper, but some queer stuff now it just scared to be problematic (or just darker) in any way, so it's not tipping into a more complex relationship beyond two cute highschool twinks. 😅 Explored danmei novels and anime like Banana Fish.

Miku is absolutely my favorite character ever and she deserve all the worldwide love she gets. My favorite thing about her is just how versatile she is-- anyone can make any song they want with her and there are hundreds of different designs of her, but you can always tell it's miku!! I was never a big vocaloid fan until the last couple years, but listening to vocaloid songs and animations was my favorite pastime when i was growing up. She can be anything you want, and that's something very unique and special to me!

I was way too young for MySpace because I was a tiny kid and didn’t know it came into existence when I was a tiny kid very tiny until this video and doing a little research on the MySpace website. I’m a bit jealous that there was people old enough to experience it because I would have loved to experience the website and meet other emos and meet scene kids too. I became a emo as recently as last year and I’ve never been so happy in my life because I feel like it was meant to happen to me. I also absolutely love the scene kid fashion and hair colors and stuff but I’m not brave enough to try that and also I’m way too pale for that anyway and can just about pull off having jet black hair. And I will be surprised if I can pull off the emo hairstyle too when I finally get it done. I would love to meet other emos and meet scene kids but there really isn’t any that I know in my hometown. Only my friends that are Trad Goths. It would be amazing to meet other emos and meet scene kids. I feel like I’m the only emo.. maybe that’s because I’ve never seen another emo in my hometown or unless I don’t pay attention because I’m mentally in my own happy world 😂
