Momma and I have been together for nearly 50 years. It was love at first sight when I passed thru Winston Salem,NC with a band in 1974. We married six weeks later. Muscians usually don't have long marriages especially when both partners are in the music biz. We enjoyed a wonderful career that eventually included our talented son JoJo.
Now we make music in our home studio just because we still love making music. We are free of any commercial ambitions and simply hope some people give us a listen.

I composed this tune in the late sixties. It was first performed with my best friend Ronnie Wall, bassist George Nolan, and Mike Rawlings on drums. We had Charleston’s first jam band in the late 60’s, The band was called Freight and we managed to earn a living playing only original music. I have recordings of that band, but unfortunately they are on 1/2 inch tape and I have no way to play them....

Momma and I greatly appreciate those that take the time to listen. Obviously we don't concern ourselves about genre. We do what we write and what we like. That has been a problem where record labels and such are concerned, but we did alright on our own. This great Paul Anka song made famous by Frank Sinatra is an anthem for old farts like me.
