I love your videos. they're great for new riders or someone new to the Ryker specifically. take a lot of the learning pains out of the equation. it's always best to learn from others' experience(s).
Thanks so much James 😊 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
I just got my Ryker last week and i'll be taking my MSF course later in september. i'm riding daily to practice though, so with that and watching lots of youtube videos (yours are great by the way) i think i'll be doing well
Thanks James! You’ll have so much fun 😀 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
those are some good exercises to practice control.
Thanks 😊 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
The hood is used frequently for maintenance. Can-Am should have more thought into this. The tabs/clips break easily and often. solution is simple & inexpensive. Link to purchase item is included. ruclips.net/video/mpIjKQ8ND2w/видео.html
Great video😊
Thanks for watching 😊 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
Reverse throttle grip seems to work best. So push the throttle the opposite direction while turning. As you mention a relaxed grip is also important.
😮 I have got to give this a try. Thanks for sharing 😀 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
Is this something you have to test for even if you have a motorcycle endorsement??
I believe in most states, if you have a 2 wheel motorcycle endorsement, you can ride a 3 wheel. 3 wheelers rides differently than 2 wheelers though (like leaning into turns is different), so it’s a good idea to become familiar with a 3 wheeler in a safe place before taking it into traffic 😉 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
AWESOME video! Thanks for sharing!!!
My pleasure 😁 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
This thing even the baby will no how to used😂😂😂
Haha, good for you for being able to figure it out by yourself 😂🤣
Looks uncomfortable
The strap itself is not uncomfortable because you can choose to not make it tight ☺️
I find that helps a lot. I got my Ryker in May and just passed 1300 miles. Thank you
Thank you for your encouraging words❣️ That’s awesome that you’re putting on miles 😃👍 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
Thanks! I watched other videos before yours and this is the one that I actually understood and was able to follow and apply the steps.
Glad this helped ☺️ Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
thanks man i was confused as heck
Thank you for the great Ryker videos! Can you please share some info about the front fender LED lights shown in his one?
Hi @JulianCentral, thank you for tuning in! I love my added fender LEDs. They make me very visible from the front and the back. They were already on when I purchased my Ryker used, so I am not sure where they came from, but if I had to guess, from Can-Am because all my other mods that came already installed seemed to be Can-Am products and were installed by the dealer. Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
What a crock of shit. I've been riding in western Canade and NW USA since 1977. 2 fingers down is a general greeting followed by a regular wave to any following riders. Your "Turn Around" followed by "palms down, up and down" is "Cops ahead". The rest of it as group rides signals suck. If you ride alone, most of this is BS. Spend 2 tank fulls of fuel on Bluetooth communications and you're golden. It's 2024.
Your Ryker must shift a whole lot easier than mine. I've been mostly unsuccessful shifting by foot for the month since I bought my 2019 Ryker 600, and this week I said 'screw it' and ordered a Jockey shift.
I’m sorry that doesn’t work for you. There are very cool looking jockey sticks 😁 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
Good job and a great video for beginners. I ride motorcycles as well and I believe it is more work to ride a ryker but there is so much fun to ride that it is my go to machine now days. Please be safe. I try to look at all your videos and I like your style. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I’m so glad that I got my Ryker 🥰 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
I also live in Texas, and it's June now, and I am going to wait until October to test for my three-wheel endorsement. Thanks for this video - it helped.
Good plan 👍 It’s too hot now to ride 🥵
Good advice. I've had my Ryker a month, and I just stay off the freeways. The traffic around her runs 75-80 mile an hour, and I don't want in the middle of it. Sometimes it takes a little longer to reach my destination, but what the heck. If I'm in a hurry I'm probably in my car instead....
I don’t enjoy the highway either. The point of my Ryker is fun, so I prefer back roads that have less traffic and more scenic 😁 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
You are so right about this - proper grip is the key for smooth throttle control. Your "Hubby" has a clutch handle on his Indian. This lets him rev the engine a little before he feathers out the clutch. Your Ryker only has an electronic throttle with no manual clutch. Smooth throttle control is a very important learned skill as you are finding out. The screw driver grip is the proper way to actuate the throttle on every bike, not just the Ryker. If you look at pictures and videos of the professional racers, they do just that. They bend their elbows a bit instead of straight arming, and point them out kind of like chicken wings. This automatically places their hands into the relaxed screw driver grip position. The bike will handle better too, because there will be no unwanted steering inputs from straight/ locked arms as you flow through those bumpy turns. All motorcyclists need to learn this technique in order to have a more enjoyable ride. Good job on this video series. I know a couple of ladies who are new Ryker riders, and can benefit from your learning curve.
Thank you @bradiacm7828 ❣️ I felt so stupid at first for needing to practice the grip and throttling 😅 But now it’s second nature and makes my ride so much more enjoyable 🏍️💨💨
I have 45 years of riding experience on all types of two wheel motorcycles. I recently bought a 2022 Ryker Rally for my wife to ride. I installed a steering damper and a sway bar on the Ryker shortly after bringing it home. I could not image the riding characteristics of this Ryker without suspension upgrades. Even with a dampener and sway bar, the Ryker still rides quite rough. I'm getting used to it. Eventually, it will become unnoticeable to me. I won't be the only rider of this Ryker, my wife will be. Iride a 2020 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited. One thing about the Ryker you must do with steering is to lean into the curve, just like a two-wheeler motorcycle, and push down lightly on the floorboard, or peg, with your opposite foot. Turn left, push down with your right foot. Turn right, push down with left foot. If you don't practice and make this a riding habit, the Ryker may throw you out of the saddle. It's not like riding a two-wheeler because a Ryker cannot be leaned into turns. Practice riding around in town before taking it on highway trips. I friend of mine owns a Harley Davidson Tri-Glide and has ridden a Spyder. He says the Tri-Glide is harder to ride because the two wheels are in the back. He says it's a completely different riding experience. I haven't ridden a Tri-Glide, but I may have to give it a try on his. My friend at the Harley dealership says I will not like riding a Tri-Glide, especially over an Ultra Limited. If anyone has ridden a Tri-Glide, please send comments.
Thank you @dingznthingz for the tip on leaning on the Ryker 👍 My hubby also rides a 2 wheel. He said the rough ride on the Ryker is due to the feedback from the road. Unevenness of the road felt by the front wheels gets transmitted to the handlebars. The lack of power steering means you feel that road feedback, and because the wheelbase is wider than the handlebar, the feedback gets magnified. Dampener and sway bar may help, but this is what the Ryker ride is like and you might as well enjoy it 😆 Here’s a video where that feedback is explained (about 3’ into video). ruclips.net/video/4nwI3sFBmzU/видео.htmlsi=hXlCo2N699-baoP-
Good upgrade information, thank you. Happy riding 😁😁😁

Youll learn how to lean on the Dragons Tail in North Carolina. Found myself pushing with my legs as I leaned into the corner.
I want to ride that route! 😃
I can't reach mine
Not even if you scoot forward in your seat? 😕
Nope
You have the perfect excuse to get a cool jockey shifter 😁
are u supoosed to use the tube in the air fileter section to gas up?
Hi @richardlee4438, no don’t use the little filter if you’re gassing from the pump. I believe that is s for when you are gassing from a storage container. The trick for me is to pump as slow as possible so that the gas has time to trickle down to the rest of the tank. You will get used to it 😆
Can you do emergency swerves on this to avoid a car or object or will it tip over?
It’s very stable and will not tip easily, even during swerve. My riding instructor said he actually tried to tip it and wasn’t able to. However, there is a video showing someone riding their Ryker at a skating park, took it down some stairs, lost control so they grabbed the right handlebar, which opened up the throttle, and the Ryker did tip as it sped down another flight of stairs 😵💫
What r u doing w ur legs?
Hi @richardlee4438 I am told that it helps to push with your leg on the outer side of the curve, so if curving right, push the left foot peg in a forward direction. This seems like it would especially help if taking a curve aggressively (like at higher speed than I would feel comfortable). Not sure if this works for a foot board… Do you have foot pegs or foot boards?
Why do people think this is hard
Perhaps because it’s so simple that people don’t think they got it right 😂
You probably saved my life lol..thank you.
Haha, this compliment is probably not warranted, but I appreciate it 😅 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
Thank you for information
You are welcome 🤗 Ride safe and enjoy 🏍️💨💨

I had no idea 😄 Thank you for sharing. Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
Damn! Thanks for the video. I have floorboards on my Ryker and the brake pedal sets too high for me to put my foot completely on the floorboard with having my foot touching the brake pedal. I read the pedal was adjustable, but have not seen the instructions on how to perform it. Thanks again.
Gladto hear that this works for you 😃 I didn’t know how it would work with floorboards 😅 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
Through 2 rings back through 1
Yes 😅
I know this is the safest option for it won’t come undone in case of an accident but I rather add a quick release kit,the simpler it is the less likely you are to get lazy and not do it 😅
You are so correct that unless you use it, it won’t protect you! It’s a good thing that there are so many options out there, so there’s something for everyone 👍
There are more benefits than just not being undone in an accident. Because of the way you put it on you'll always adjust the strap to the correct tightness. Also it's the strongest buckle out of all motorcycle buckles.
@Rosteripulla I was so surprised to learn that the double D is the safest/strongest 😅 Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
Hi Linda love the video I have. 23 modules A 900 ,do like the full helmet compare to the hafts

Thank you Lisa for the tip. I live here in Puerto Rico. I rode my Ryker Rally 900 to my Pain Specialist in Coto Laurel , 50 miles away , yesterday. When I came on my screen light came on and said I need brake fluid. Since I previously had a Honda Shadow, I looked at the Manuel and your video. I found it the most helpful video of all. I'm sooooooo excited! I've had my Ryker for six months, and didn't even know it has two USB ports. What would I do without your channel!
@shredders3881 Yes, the usb ports are useful 😃 The Ryker is so much fun. Ride safe 🏍️💨💨
I was COMPLETELY lost. BUT after seeing your video, it was a breeze! Thank you! And thanks to the cameraperson who did a GREAT job too!
@shredders3881 So glad you found this helpful! 😃
I'm a Japanese rider. There are no hand signs unique to Japan, and we use the same method as everyone else. In Japan, you often see "greeting" hand signs.✌ It's called "YAEH". This word was born from a misspelling of "YEAH" during an exchange on SNS. The hand signs of greeting vary from person to person, and many include ``lightly raising your hand,'' ``waving,'' ``peace sign,'' and ``nod.''👋🤚👍✊ There are some strong people who stand up and wave, or even wave both hands. There was a time when Kawasaki's official motorcycle community site used to say, ``If you ride a Kawasaki motorcycle, please sign the 'K' sign.'' Peace sign + thumb makes it look like K.
@NorickFZS25 I have wondered about hand signals in countries where you ride on the left. Thank you for sharing❣️ The history of “YAEH” is so cool 😃 That’s an enthusiastic rider who stands up or wave 2 hands 😆
@@urbandingo6882 I forgot to mention this, but Japan drives on the left, so is it American style? If you put the peace sign down, you won't be able to see it, so you raise your hand. In Japan, there was a motorcycle boom from the time of the coronavirus outbreak until around spring of last year. People who had stopped riding motorcycles for a while came back to riding, and young people influenced by the motorcycle boom started riding motorcycles. Along with this, the number of motorcycle RUclipsrs has increased, and "YAEH" has spread. As a result, more and more riders are causing accidents due to extreme "YAEH" behavior, and more and more riders are becoming conscious of hand signs and talking on the intercom, resulting in more accidents.
@NorickFZS25 That makes sense to raise your hand for signaling 😄 Motorbiking makes the perfect social distancing activity 😅 That’s when I started riding. Loves it and continues to ride ❣️🏍️💨💨
@@urbandingo6882 I am 62 years old, and when I was a child I rode a motorcycle with my father on my back. After that, I got my license and have been riding a motorcycle for 27 years. Motorcycles allow you to have time to be alone. What's appealing about it is that you can feel the seasons and the land through your skin and smells.
@NorickFZS25 Yes! Loves feeling nature on a bike 🌳⛰️🌬️☀️
