Excellent video as always. It was interesting to learn the facts about Lichfield. I always like to visit the fish and chip shop at the end of Southend Pier but they charge around £14 (and there is no drink included either!) I expect that some of this cost is due to the fact that they have to transport the food from the shore to the pier head and there isn't much competition at the end of the pier. They are popular though, especially in the warm weather!

Some people are Cunard people and some are just not...there is nothing to compare to QM2. It is unfortunate that people read and believe these comments...I feel you had made up your minds before embarkation..' will people talk'? Good grief....

You mentioned abandoned in this video and how right you are. The whole place has lost it's true identity. Walking around in the morning is all good and dandy, looks lovely peaceful you picked a great day sun shining council have probably been out and cleaned up the carnage of the night before. However give the crack heads time to rise n shine and you will see the real decay of West Bromwich. A sorry excuse of a town, main part just consists of piss heads on benches contributing zero to society, shops selling absolute tat. Definitely revise this and you do a night tour with night vision camera, carter's green makes you want to carry a knife for protection which just for the record I DO NOT PROMOTE!

I will be cruising on QM2 from Southampton to NYC next year, it is the only ocean liner, its iconic, I am not expecting much from the service or food. I cruised on the Queen Elizabeth and the service and food were mediocre.. Great video.

I meet up with friends once a month at Wetherspoons, and I’m sure I pay about £11.50 for fish and chips including a pint. I must be ordering from their “fine dining” menu 😂 Mind you, I see that if I book a cruise with Marella, I’ll get two more chips than at Wetherspoons !

Hi guys , me and the Mrs went on Discovery 2 recently and thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips from the Snack Shack and we thought that they were a little better than what we have had from Spoons , and while we were in the lifts on the ship we tried the ..LIFT DISCO ..unfortunately we haven't quite got it sussed out as we kept getting caught between floors and no one wanted to join in when we asked them , we have had a good laugh with the ..Lift Disco .. but we think that you guys should put it out there a little more so that normal folk like me and the Mrs don't keep getting looked at like a couple of berks ..even though we are .

Really nice little room, and MUCH bigger than the solo inside cabins I've stayed in on Virgin ships in the past. Side note - I absolutely LOVE your t-shirt in this video - you almost made me spray my coffee when I realised what it said, ha!

We have just booked for 2026. It will be our first time on Cunard. We just got off a Princess ship 1 week ago. We found the buffet there to be far superior to the restaurant. I just don’t get why though?! It makes no sense to me. You’ve got the talent and the recipes, why is the food so poor at the restaurant but so good at the buffet?

Bilbao has never been on our to do list to be honest but this video certainly makes us think again. It’s looks great to mooch and explore… just what we like to do. Certainly a good stop on a cruise. Great video footage and informative narration… like that …Those foods and the food court ….hmmmmmm…..nom nom … The city looked sleepy too with plenty of ways to get you step count up. The Twin Peaks reference made us laugh …. but better Twin Peaks than Dark Skies…..or even Lost😂… Enjoyed this ….thank you

At the start when you said "cost of drinks" I got excited thinking you were doing a 'Pub Review'. Saying the toilets were "popular" made them sound like an attraction lol. I would have used the word 'busy'. Great video though if you are planning to go there.

These “stand alone” city videos are great. Just as relevant and informative if you were visiting as part of a cruise or, as with us, more probably as a city break. A glass of wine and some tapas mmmmmm !

Don’t underestimate Getox. There’s also plenty to do there. We’ve been there 3 times and haven’t been bored yet. And the plus side is you don’t have to wait 2 hours for your shuttle back

Great video of the room tour. I do like the control centre and the bridge view. I think that would keep me entertained for a while! It would be handy if that low drawer by the bed was on wheels and then it could be pushed under the bed out the way when it wasn't required. It looks just about the correct height to fit under the bed.

Great video and agree with everything you said regarding tipping. As Australians daily gratuities are already included in our cruise fare price and I think that this a much fairer way for the hard working crew to receive their wages providing the cruise companies do pass this money onto the crew

Are excursions or taxis available at Port Klang? Our cruise excursions are sold out.

First night on fixed dining always takes longer as passengers do not know where their tables are. On a four nighter that is 25% of the nights, all the other nights it will work more smoothly. Ordering drinks at the bar is best avoided they have drinks waiters who provide a better service as it is less disruptive for passengers.

Gotta admire the optimism of placing chargeable Tatt in the room… It’s probably a good earner. The only downside we can see is the headspace in the shower… That’s gotta hurt if you are a tall person… But looks another reason to sail with Virgin. Thanks
