Fantastic video RJ! I don't remember how many Moore Maker knives you have but I think that would be a great subject for a video.

New to the channel but sub'd and liked, obviously commenting. - My father carried Barlows through the 70s and 80s before he started carrying a Case large Stockman in the yearly to mid 90s. Growing up with them as a kid I always liked them for their size but since I got considerably bigger and have very large hands I tend to go with the larger knives but I still do like them. I had a Case Barlow from 79 but I ended up giving to to my father last year cause I know he enjoyed them. I've been looking at several RRR's and that model you had there is one of them. Also been looking at the ones from Rosecraft Blades. On a side note, or at least on which side, I actually like the Barlows that are setup with the Pen blade with the nail nick on the same side as the Main blade. That is one thing I really didn't care for in some of the brands that carry them, such as Case.

I’ve got a 6327 “Tiny Stockman” . It’s a 6 dot 1974 with jigged Delrin . Mines got a tiny Spey blade . I guess later on they started using the pen blade . It is surely a tiny knife . The Spey has got almost a nail breaker pull . That Uncle Henry “Roadie” is a great little knife . I have a couple of them . Nice clip in a small package .

It’s too bad that Case can’t seem to make a Stockman that doesn’t have blade rub . I’ve got about every model Stockman that Schrade USA ever produced including the Old Timers , Uncle Henrys and Schrade open stock and quite a few duplicates . Not a single one has blade rub . Not one ! I don’t understand why Case can’t pull off what Schrade did for less money . Don’t get me wrong , I love Case knives but , c’mon man ! They’ve had 135 years to get it right . Schrade had the Stockman mastered .

Just got the same knife minus the engraving 4 days ago and so far im like it

I was really surprised with the quality of mine when I grabbed it. I flushed it and polished it up and it’s one of my favorite “throw-away” knives. Great to throw in your pocket around the house

Ordered 3 Mansfields for the grandkids, even though it will be a few years before they are ready for them. I got both last year and really like both. The Mansfield sharpens back to that factory edge quite easily with Arkansas stones and a strop.

Very interesting. Queen started the 9000 series for the chipped bark scales. I know that in 1995, it was still used for the chipped bark series. You know it's black winterbottom bone, so it's probably an SFO. 😊

Beautiful knives RJ. One of the small knife companies that Cooper Knives makes is the Beaver Falls Cutlery Co. Knives. That company used to here in the town i live near back in the 1800's.
