this is a mk8 transit van bonnet lock i'm doing, but the code finding process is the same on all models equipped with this type of blade like fiesta, focus, transit and tourneo.

This was a 2004 ford galaxy with a 1.9 tdi engine, same drivetrain as Sharan and Alhambra. Reverse gear had suddenly stopped working, there were no faults on code readers. Worked perfectly in all forward gears.

I heard people brake these knuckles/hubs when attempting to replace one of these bearings, and this is the way i've done it without damaging anything. Hope it helps.
