Thanks! I've got some problem with my santa -08. Mostly egr related. Some cleaning and then the problem is solved for a while. But! All of a sudden it did start after the cleaning. But it did shut down when the engine reach correct working temperature. Sometimes the code crank shaft sensor is on sometimes its not. I ordered a new egr-motor and a cps sensor. So tomorrow i will see if it helps. Glad to see where the cps is located!

Thanks for sharing, I have exact same problem on my Hyundai Santa fe 2.2 diesel and same code (P0366). Strange problem because starts intermittently. I will buy the sensor and try the same repair as you did

Im just back on customers car after changing the crank pos sensor for an original a month ago. Yep. Original £70 and a month later no start with it saying crank pos sensor.
