Welcome to my channel! When I first started making videos I wanted to explore the amazing stuff in around Central Florida. I am a huge fan of Theme Parks (especially Disney) and thought why not capture some of the awesome things that happen here so that my friends and family can watch.
After a lot of soul searching, my husband and I have decided to challenge ourselves with a new lifestyle! WE ARE GOING ON THE ROAD! My husband and I bought a “new to us” travel trailer and we are going start checking off some bucket list sights with our 3 dogs. Good or bad, we will be taking life as it comes and trying to figure out what actually matters to us. I am so excited to downsize and get on the road in the next few months. In the meantime I have a lot of work to do prepping the house to be sold and getting rid of our stuff. Maybe we will do this for a week. A month, a year, maybe more?

Why Northern Maine is an ATV Paradise! (Ps Maine doesn't end @ Acadia National Park!) Don't miss it!
Hi friends! I know it's been a while but I have a new video! My Cousin and his family took us out to experience what ATV riding is all about in Northern Maine. We saw places in Aroostook County we didn't know existed! We drove around Fort Kent, Sinclair, St Agatha, Madawaska and more. This was an experience I will never forget. If you have ever considered coming up here to experience this, DO IT! over 2000 miles of trails in Northern Maine! Things like this is what makes Maine wonderful and wild.

Very well done promo video for Northern Maine! Since you loved those SXS rides,have your cousin take you on the Downeast Sunrise Trail from Calais to Ellsworth. Another easy ,non-technical ride. Northern Mainers know how to treat ATV/UTV riders!

I’m sure they are snowmobile trails in the winter. We rode the trails around Buxton on motorcycles when I was a kid. Lots of fun riding with my dad. I’ve done a few trips to WVa to the Hatfield/McCoy ATV trials. On 4 wheelers. That was wild 😂. Glad you all had fun 👍🏼

This is indeed very heartwarming and very wonderful and very beautiful and very adorable and very helpful and this brings back wonderful memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).

@@Thesaltymedic36 these guys close on Sept 30th. Further down state they will stay open until late Oct/early November. I’ll be ready to move south by then:)
This is so great to see! Like you said I always see people online rave about the coast while talking about "northern" Maine (usually Bangor 🤣) We live right on Caribou Rd in Fort Kent, hope you enjoy your stay!

@@Thesaltymedic36 it kind of is but savory. They are very specific to this part of Canada and Northern Maine.
I’ve heard the aurora borealis makes its way south sometimes 👍🏼. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it.
@@Thesaltymedic36 there have been several solar flares this year which is what causes aurora borealis. I have been trying to see them since I got to Maine in May with no luck. This is only the second time I’ve seen them ever😃
That’s cool. I figure when I get up to Alaska I’ll see it. Maybe Maine or Canada depending on the weather and time. I’ve read about them to see why they occur. I think it’s interesting.

U r using the wrong product for ur eye concern… this is a wrinkle corrector and not for eye bags…. They have a different product for what u need…. I’m not defending the brand I’m just telling u what I know…. I hope this helps… and thank you for ur time and for sharing ur opinion.

When you walk out the door to the outside stuff, first brick on the left against the building, William Bill Dawson UDT class 1, was a local guy I knew. I got his book and he signed it for me.

We’re planning a trip there to see the swing bridge in October. The Audie Murphy trail head is close by, going there too. I also plan to see the WW2 memorial in Bedford. We’re going to the overland expo East on that Friday, that’s a neat event. Probably see Monticello on the way out of town.
I love that little campground in Buchanan. You can do your reservations online and it’s only$35 a night (I think). We’ve stayed several times driving through. Natural Bridge is in that area too.
We actually have a Thousand Trails campground membership since 07. We have one in Lynchburg that’s is close to all that. One of the smarter things I’ve done 😂
@@Thesaltymedic36 do you get a lot of use out of your membership? I’m still up in the air about getting one
We bought it In 07 when we got our first travel trailer and based on my calculations we paid for the membership by using it for 5 years till we sold the trailer and got a condo at the beach. Then sold the condo 😢 and got our current Rv. We obviously started using it again. We only paid the yearly dues when we didn’t use it as it was paid off. In my opinion it’s worth it…..Thousand Trails has issues. Some parks are great like Hershey and Orlando and Chesapeake. Others are kinda run down. For the cost and the use we got out of it, it was worth it. When we retire in 2 years we will use it a lot more when available by location. We don’t care about the condition of things. It serves a purpose. I can fill, dump and hopefully get power for a few days. We will use it for food prep and cleaning. If it’s decent we may stay a few weeks 🤷🏼♂️. I’d suggest buying used and get coast to coast parks. Also look for the 120 out booking. Good luck and RUclips is full of good and bad about TT ✌🏼

Nice that it’s an amusement park next door but…..it’s no Disney 😂. Once you do Disney it’s hard to compare.
@@Thesaltymedic36 agreed. I’m a Disney girl from way back. This park however, is prob one of prettiest parks I have been to. I’ve been back to the campground and I love it.
Ft Pierce is where the Navy Seal museum is 😊 it was awesome to see.

We stayed at a drive in, in SC. It was really cool. I had not been to one since I was a kid.

We drove Skyling from end to end and it took forever 😂 because we stopped at every overlook. The gift shop is never open 🤷🏼♂️ but we only go off peak, weekdays. The fall is nice. Lots of 🍂 leaf peeping.

Festival footage reminds me of how simple life in Northern Maine can be. Appreciation for the little things. ❤. We used to do foil packets on the fire but we did it with hamburger patties. This looked sooo delicious!

We use to shut down our court where we lived in Buxton and would have summer cookouts for the whole community, great times. I’ve never heard of Ployes 🤷🏼♂️ 72k with 4K given 😮 wow that’s now many for 🫎 moose. I went to Wendy’s yesterday at work, 15 bucks for a burger, fry and soda 🤦🏼 so yeah it’s expensive. I want to get into open fire cooking when we go. Just some good cast iron pans are needed, maybe a Dutch oven. OLD BAY FOR THE WIN 😊 ok nice cooking job 👍🏼I thought you had enough seasoning, I’m surprised. Real lemon is a good thing.

My heart goes out to you. This might sounds radical, but please do your research. For consideration a parasite cleanse. It's crazy how many disorders and dis-ease these lil buggers are responsible for. While you are on it, stay off sugar. Please give it 10 days. I started with 'Food Over Drugs' kit. C/O their website and read up on it (Dr Lodi, and others). Just for consideration as this can fast track your mental health. It's not your fault. It's also our food system. You will get better! #teamErin

Lithium, more solar, good solar controller and a good inverter. Great idea. I’m going to upgrade my stuff to modernize my system. Probably add more lithium batteries too. My favorite way to camp.
I have 400W of solar and 2 lithium 100ah batteries I’d like to beef up my inverter and add another 200-300 ah batteries.
You should have made it all night with no problem. That’s odd. Was the fridge on electric or propane? That may be the draw that killed them overnight.

Well I’m actually pleased by your FT expenses. I retire in 2 years and we think we can beat that number down. Definitely cheaper to stay a month than a day, I’ve noticed that too. Great video 👍🏼

@@Thesaltymedic36 I want to do more boondocking this year. I’ve been looking into getting more batteries. I have a residential fridge and I want to be able fun the furnace in cold weather. Hopefully I’ll get that done soon.
We were up there 10 months ago and I had not been up there in a long long time. We stayed in the Portland area. I do miss those pine trees. We will get back up there soon and see the rest of the state. I’m going up to Ft Kent to the start of Route 1. Been to Key West so I have to see the other end 😂 Video of Maine on my page ✌🏼

I’ve been there twice now and love it. This spring we were there for opening weekend and got it for about half price because it was early in the season. BONUS! I’m a Disney girl and I love the fact that I can camp at a theme park.- one of my favorite places in CT
Oh man!! I sooo miss home. Ernie proposed on top of Cadillac Mtn overlooking Frenchman’s Bay. We love Bar Harbor and Camden Rockport. One of our first dates was walking the breakwater. Enjoy the summer in the County. One of the best places to be!! ❤
What a place to propose! Love it! I’m going to avoid that area like the plague this summer but I’m hoping I can visit in the fall before we leave. Roger loves saltwater and I know he will love that area if we actually get a chance to explore!

Sorry you’ve been having problems with yours. We’ve had ours since last September and we’ve had good luck so far. We’ve put about 5000 mile in it. Not completely free of problems but all things we could tackle ourselves so far.

Sorry Harvest Host doesn’t allow slidin truck campers and some Van Campers!!
Some of those truck campers are nicer than a lot of travel trailers. Even some of the DIY vans are nicer and prob built better than today’s RVs.
Great information. FYI, my son LOVES Moxie, I cannot find it here in Ohio. Lived in VT for many years & he can get Moxie anytime there. Definitely looking/researching for more power in my camper & sailboat. Be well
