I find it rather ironic that in the book of Isaiah God says his people find his word line upon line precept upon precept memorized by rote and without understanding the divinely inspired prophetic truth even though it is in their own native tongue. However God is going to speak his judgment and his truth to them through other tongues, in other words gentile languages. Although there is much to be admired in Jewish heritage and culture and the hebrew language, God is no respecter of persons and he has used many diverse ways and tongues to speak his word to his people and to the creation. Hebrew roots is a retreat into the bondage of the law and a backsliding return to the parochial tribalistic religion of antiquity, denying that the universality of the one true God. Although it is true that the direct rule of the theocratic covenant belongs only to Israel, but the indirect rule of the universal principles of civil society, natural law moral order human rights, just and righteous government belong to all peoples.
