Thank you Rabanit for this deeper insight of Parashat Vayeira. Baruch HaShem.
Am Yisra’el Chai. Remember who you are, and who lives inside of you. We must not let our heart grumble, even if something is seemingly taxing on us, or trying, because this is our test. We are all tested. Men have their test, women have their test, but may we be faithful like Avraham, having a faith that works righteousness, and in obedience to G-d. When we recognize the priceless value of living G-ds way, we can rejoice in His “Instruction” as one rejoices in great riches. As we invite the Ruach to empower us we can savor each moment spent prayerfully reading and studying TORAH, which is G-ds life changing gift to us.
Let us live up to our calling, continuing on this path of righteousness and not let G-d down, for all that He has done, and all that He is going to do. Let us seek to be perfect even as our Heavenly Father is Perfect. Have a wonderful week Rabanit Sarah Cohen, and Thank you for all you do. With love and blessings from Australia

12:51 the part about giving up your child really made me think about abortion and how it seems to apply there too. Not saying it’s right or wrong just saying I’ve seen it in many women I know that have had one.

The correction here is that G-d did not allow Avraham to give up his child in the end - it was only a test. When a woman aborts her baby, it is tantamount to outright murder. Other than the life of the mother - meaning if the mother's life is in danger, we are not permitted to put an END to the baby's life.

At 34:39 - What would you say if the Rabbi who transformed your life to be closer to Hashem did something so far away from Torah... Unfortunately, that is something that some of us have to face, and it wasn't because said Rabbi acted in purity and with God. It is very hard, but it is something some of us have to live with. The Torah they taught us was pure, even if their other acts were not.

I would say that he would have to face the Bet Din and account for his actions - that witnesses would have to be brought forward to corroborate his behavior and if he's found guilty the Bet Din should decide what the consequence of his action is.

@TorahForWomen He was taken to task. I was not directly affected by his bad behavior, but I had difficulty processing how to feel.
