Absolutely! I would say for blonde highlights you can add nourishing chamomile (lemon juice is drying so please use lemon juice w caution) I wouldn’t use that but I totally would go with chamomile or a beautiful yellow pau d arco tea. Thanks for watching. Let me know what you go with!

It’s an enhancer so blonde henna on blonde hair won’t really have the best results I would think. If you were to use a light brown or a darker shade of the blonde it may actually color it. It’s also okay to embrace the gray too. ☺️ I’ll do some research and see if maybe there is an alternative for you. Thank you for making me smile 🙏

I use henna on my hair. Please use pure henna powder, you can change the orange color of henna by mixing tea (dark brown) or coffee (coffee brown) or beetroot for dark red color. If you use indigo after henna, you can get black hair.

I tried brown and it didnt cover it!the rest of the hair was ok until the next day that i took a bath!my sister in law uses the same henna and it covers everything!but she has thin hair.Thank you for answering me you re so sweet!

Thanks for watching and for sharing. I think that’s great especially if you’re making it fresh and you’re not having to refrigerate it. I refrigerate mine because I’ve got a ton of feeders and I make large batches and so for me it is easier to refrigerate it even though I don’t refrigerate it for very long because I do like to keep it fresh. I assume it will. I don’t have a full head of gray hair, but I am predominantly gray at the crown and it fully covers. I can do some research to see if it would cover, but I’m pretty sure it does. Yes that’s very true you can darken it with other things like black coffee and or black tea and it will act as an enhancer to the grey. I’ll have to research that. 😉

The second step is the indigo bag w senna and it typically comes in the box for this one. If you are not using this brand the second step would be a mixture of indigo powder mixed w senna bit I’ve never mixed the two together before independently--

This is a great question. It sent me down a research rabbit hole because I had never heard of it ( that’s a good thing). lol. We personally would not use it. I consider myself an avid researcher and in this case simple and clean is better for these beautiful birds. There aren’t enough papers out there to justify for me that copper sulfate…is within the natural range of copper found in hummingbirds’ diet. Ex. I don’t trust things that preserve my food for one to two weeks to prevent the natural molding process. That’s not how nature works. Thanks for the great question. It keeps us on our toes.

Thanks for watching and the great question. I like to tell people interested in using Henna that it is not the same as how box color works, instead it works in tones. For example - henna tones vary on the natural color of your hair. Using pure henna alone will result in a red tone as that is the color of henna itself. Indigos are added to the mix to tone the reddish color down and make hair appear darker. Henna can darken hair or maintain your current color. It doesn’t change the structure of the hair. There’s a color chart that will show “if your hair is this color, then using (whatever color the henna is) will make it this” and that’s how I go about it. This is a great chart you can use and if you notice it will say when the color will have a conditioning effect only and will not have a “color change” All henna is different though but this should give you a general idea. www.mehndiskinart.com/henna_color_chart.htm

Thanks so much for reaching out. I apologize for taking so long to respond to your inquiry. The first bag is pure henna and the second bag consists of indigo and senna.

@@CATryIt-jz4rc People should be advised that the indigo is a blue color that is permanent and will not come out. If a person bleaches their hair later on to remove the henna, the gray will all end up very blue.

Sometimes “quick and easy “ is better. I’m trying to edit for a faster presentation.
