Alan Bean's Astro-Vette was on display in September 2019 on the National Mall outside the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum.

The comment about the darker pigment was dope . Crazy but maybe true is photons contain information. Maybe sun can impart information during the sun ceremony

I started putting Charles Wysocki Puzzles together in 2020 when Covid showed its ugly head. I now own approximately 86 of his puzzles and I continue to look and search high and low for more of his puzzles. For now, I collect the 1000 piece puzzles and I have so far completed 26 puzzles in my spare time. Someday I hope to have all his puzzles and I intend to put them together.

Sometime, if you want to be impressed by Chief Joseph and the Nez Perce people, look for the map of their journey to the point of Joseph's final surrender. It is astounding what the did given what they had to work with. As I become familiar with more and more of Howard Terpning's work, the more I feel his deep and abiding respect for Native American peoples. As a painter, when you can capture a feeling you have really accomplished something significant. His use of the light and how it falls on his subjects is a big part of delivering the impact that each painting or drawing carries. His depiction of weathered buffalo hide, for example, uses color and shadow to convey the 'aging in weather' aspect of the material. With the 3 prints that I have, I find I am rewarded every time I look at them.

Mr Terpning , I believe you have a Castle being made in Heaven. You are Amazing . I got a tear and felt this moment of silence in awe of sympathy for the Indians when I finished seeing your clip and paintings on you tube. . The other day I received another package full of items from a thrift shop , from time to time I get them and donate Items out to the church, next door ,and some of the things I keep. Well I came across a Old West Collectors Series Portrait of Chief Joseph, and I wanted to set down and learn who he was, then I came across who you are , and what you do .. That is awesome, I know you must be an inspiration to any and all Indians from that point on who have survived and carried on through the generations! I believe you have a castle being made in heaven for you and all you're family for what you do , and at the same time you also love your talent , and so Lets give thanks to God right now! Glory to God and And seeing your art , and portrays. I have always wanted to be a photographer , I think I have a real talent in some ways too , as far as photography and visualizing special moments, I know I have the passion for it . You are very blessed. In Jesus name Amen. Christian , Joy Lynn , Dallas Tx.
