If I'm on a plane and I have moved away from the gravitational pull of the earth, gravitational time dilation should make my time move faster than those at the surface with a higher gravitational pull. Therefore, the plane experiment is really just displaying the effects of Kinematic time dilation. If I were to have an uninterrupted highway, ground level, that would allow me to move around the world at the same speed as the plane, time dilation should be more pronounced as the gravitational pull would be relatively equal to those on the ground and Kinematic time dilation would not be offset by gravitational time dilation. Am I thinking about this wrong?

Their is no way nobody is going to spoon feed me a spoon full of BS when it comes to the guesstimation of all the matter in the universe being condensed down into a spec the size of a pen point before the big bang happened. I can probably pretend to kind of understand if it were more speculated to be like everything was condensed down into something as big as our sun or something maby that gravity had pushed all of the galactic's matter into a sun sized ball and then it went rogue and exploded. Then I could live life more content with putting faith into the men and woman out there trying to put a real story line behind their research findings. But hearing them come up with that prediction directly from the start is a good way to lose my confidence. Other then at. I don’t agree with this interpretation of time. The philosophy and the physics are two different entities. You can argue that they overlap but measure is what we need to understand how physics works. We don’t need if time is an illusion but it doesn’t matter for our lives. It matters when we have enough empirical data to tell what it is. I don’t mind but even today the second law of thermodynamics is hard to understand. Besides that a great show

As a physicist, it always makes me smile when they say pull of gravity. In reality according to Einstein's General Relativity theory, it's actually the fabric of spacetime pushing. Totally understand why a documentary for wider viewing says pull of gravity. Great documentary though.
