Testing a motherboard after return from CCL, still faulty. CCL took the bird back again, and once again could not fault it. they sent me a video of their testing which showed only 1 beep. It's possible that the BIOS was not talking to any of my older graphics cards and so this appeared to be a bad CPU. This vintage SHARP DX-150E CD player, (circa 1988) came to me with the fault - not playing discs. It turned out to have two - relatively common - faults.
