Thanks for sharing the days when things aren't going so well. Very authentic. I recall as a teenager I saved up, bought my first board, saved again and got it refurbished. It was looking lovely. I waxed it and stood it on it's round pin tail against a wall. A couple of minutes later it fell over sideways and caught the edge of a slate window cill as it fell. Big gouge in my new lovely looking rails and a piece out of the nose when it hit the concrete floor. All very frustrating. You're in Indonesia though. Only been once so far but loved it. Just being there was great, the people seem to be determined to have a great day and they seemed to want that for me too. It got infectious and I just felt better every day. This was even after being gouged for too much money in an airport taxi and at a police stop when out on a scooter. The family I was staying with seemed genuinely upset when I told them about the police stop. I'll try and buy some merch, least I can do after all the travel advice you've shared. Hopefully they ship abroad from the States. Cheers

These productions are really very good and that's coming from a locked down reserved Brit - ha ha!! What has stuck with me from this piece is the skill level required to ride thigh height. or less. I have a little experience sailing and racing and some of the best people are the ones good in light airs. So many questions. Is that your go to board? Do you travel with it and if so how? I've had airlines turn me away recently with a seven foot board in a travel bag.
