My nephew’s dad Bruce has a kid took me surfing to pleasure point we were from down south. It was the first cut back I ever did the way it was patient and gave me time. I’ll never forget that feeling.

Holy F?!$ that place has gotten crowded! It was bad in the 90’s but NOTHING like that. I’m about 10 minutes from Lowers and it gets just as crowded, but at least there’s a left as well as a right. That’s just a right with a small take off spot and literally a hundred people on it all elbow to elbow. No thanks!

Thanks for sharing. The vibe in your videos is really great, I really like the laidback easy tone, it illustrates what surfing has always been about for me, so thank you. Do you guys have any thoughts about the fins you use. Perhaps include what you like in a future video. I've always called them skegs, but I suppose that just shows how long I've been doing this. The piece wouldn't need to be highly technical, more what works for you in the real world. I've not long bought my first longboard. The skeg length was an inch long for every foot length of board. I've been playing with placement but not noticed huge differences yet.
